I bought these for collectible pop culture coins. I knew that I would have to cut the foam inserts to fit the odd-sized coins. Every size diameter of these hard cases seem to have the same thickness, and is capable of holding a coin a little less than 1/8" thick. The foam is writable, and flexible as described. The fit is secure and in most cases well-fitted. The clarity is excellent, and the quality is perfectly suitable for displaying your coins. Totally worth the cost and my favorite method for protecting and displaying/storing coins. (Also, you can just use the box these come in to store them.PROS:-Consistent quality compared to similar types of items from the same or similar manufacturers-Excellent clarity-Well-fitting and capable of being modified to fit odd-sized coins-Not very expensive, IMHO-Intended coin sizes fit perfectlyCONS:-About 1.5 in a box have a significant scratch or defect which makes the function problematic (I bought 2 boxes @25, SO I lost about 3 in 50, which is about the average for ANY of these type of collectible storage products)-If you're not good with an exacto knife, re-sizing the inserts is not practicalSO, there's really only 1 negative to these things, and I think it's totally worth it!

At the risk of sounding like a gushing school kid, I love these 2x2. White on one side black on the other. The coins are situated perfectly to avoid any contact with plastic. Helpful hunt. The white side Isa barrier so make sure you put the coin in black side up and gently push down. It won't touch the plastic now. Unlike other brands.. I just wish there were more available sizes. The nickel cases aren't a snigger fit for shield nickels just fyi.

We have a bunch of coins from my father's old collection and decided to put these in holders. We like to handle the coins individually and this allows us to do that without leaving finger prints etc. Not sure about the long term but BCW says they are safe. Worried about the black EVA foam though. Everyone says they have been using these for years without problems.

Great way to keep coins safe and still be able to view their fronts and backs. I got these with the intention to store them in a case and to not only store the coin specified, but other foreign coins that also fit that size and this was very successful. Some coins were a bit smaller than the one specified, so I simply put them in the circle and when the lid is closed, they can not go anywhere. Great buy and exactly what I wanted. The cases seem fairly sturdy and durable and snap together easily. I also like the box they come in which can be used to store the cases in if you so desire. I love these cases and will be getting more if I need them.

After I learned how to open and close these coin holders they work well. Coins look good.I have also ordered them for silver dollars, half dollars, dimes, and pennies. Feel the same about all of these holders
