Highland Sugarworks Pint Jug Dark Amber Organic Maple Syrup, 16 Ounce

When I first decided to try REAL maple syrup rather than the corn syrup stuff, I accidentally started with Highland Sugarworks. I've tried a few other brands since then, both A and B, American and Canadian, but I guess my first impression stuck, because I still find Highland subtly, lightly, inexplicably better than all the others. I've eliminated most sugar from my diet, but I drizzle a few drops of maple into my coffee each morning. And once a month, I throw diet caution to the winds and have French toast or pancakes just absolutely smothered in Highlands. Great stuff!. Recommend it highly. And by the way, the Highland people were kind enough to confirm to me via email that their maple syrup is indeed vegan -- which not all maple syrups are.

Had an odd taste. It's something you can use when cooking, but not otherwise. Maybe it's just me, but dark amber has a common flavor with most syrups. This one didn't.

I order this maple syrup and just loved it--came in cute plastic jug. It has a balance flavor, sweetness is just right. Great on pancakes and waffles. I will never go back to fake, store bought syrup.

I've only ever bought grocery store maple syrup. I never realized just how much more flavor a maple syrup could have. This is amazing maple syrup, well worth the money.

I bought my first of this brand via Williams-Sonoma (in the penquin glass bottle). I washed the bottle to refill from this container. It is absolutely wonderful Maple syrup.

This is my favorite syrup. I love darker amber's. I wish this one was easier to find in the store. The constancy is nice and not runny.
