Simply miraculous…no really!
OK I’m trying to think of a way to write this review where it seems like a real honest critique of these devices because everything I wanna say is going to sound like an overly enthusiastic fake ad. I bought a lot of garbage off Amazon in the past and some of my reviews I was shocked to see they wouldn’t allow me to publish but to be totally honest I’ve never purchased anything that was life-changing like these things are. I have a severe problem with a drop foot both feet for 3 years due to neuropathy, I had a fall at least once a month, had to walk with a cane, and was becoming more and more immobile which made my other health conditions worse. I struggled with the cost of the expensive orthotics and I read a lot of reviews like this one so I decided to give these a try. I was not optimistic when they arrived, they seemed flimsy and cheap. Im over 200lbs, 6’3” and wear 13s. How was this little piece of plastic going to make a difference much less hold up? So I gave them a try, the only difficult part was getting my shoe on over them I didn’t have to trim them at all since my feet are so big they were actually a perfect fit but once I got my shoes stretched out a little this wasn’t so bad. The small velcro straps fell off and are worthless, I don’t need them anyway they work fine for me with only the big padded top strap. Walking with them was a little awkward at first I just had to tell myself to walk natural and I learn to trust the orthotics within a few weeks it was unbelievable the difference. Zero falls or even close calls since I put these on. I felt much more secure, My walking has improved dramatically, I’m getting away from having to use the cane but I still feel naked without it. Even exercising is easier with these, my feet stay on my bike pedals and there is no fear on my treadmill they have helped me continue to lose weight (down 100lbs+ in a year). They seem to be holding together well even after wearing them 24hrs straight a few times, yep I even slept in them. There is nothing I have ever purchased for so little that has benefited me so much, literally a life saver.

works well, durable, and well made AFO for drop foot
This works very well for drop foot. It is comfortable, and narrow enough to fit inside of a regular shoe without discomfort. It is durable and well made, with very sticky velcro fasteners. The foam rubber padded strap should be reinforced so it doesn't separate at the edge. Otherwise very happy with the purchase!

Read Description Very Carefully
As described, however I needed to buy more Velcro to go around the foot to hold it onto the slippery plastic brace. You are supposed to take your insole out of your shoe and put it on the top of the brace foot part. However my insole does not come out of my shoe, so my foot just sloppy slides around on the brace.

Flimsy.
If you have drip foot that requires a physician prescribed brace you might look elsewhere. This one is flimsy.

Quality isn't great
Way lighter than my old brace but it isn't the best quality one of the straps fell off.

Effective for Severe Drop Foot
I suffer from a periferal neuropathy known as CMT. My desease has left me with severe "drop foot" in both feet making me very suseptable to tripping and falling. Fortunately however I have very slight abnormality in foot structure which is often common with this desease. Because my foot profile was close to normal, my neurologist suggested I try an "off the shelf" AFO to alleviate the drop foot. He suggested this over a custom made AFO which could cost several thousand dollars. My search for a device lead me to the BraceOn AFO sold by Amazon. I first bought one for my left foot to try it out. I was so impressed I soon bought one for my right foot. It takes a little getting used to and you need to experiment with different shoe sizes and inserts but the product really does work! It is light weight and with a little coaxing will fit in my sneakers. You may have to buy a half size larger sneaker or shoe but I have found it has really improved my walking at a very reasonable price. Updated comment: I have been using the product now for several weeks. It is great!! My only complaint is how can I get replacement calf pads? They are white and after many days of use will get dirty. It wouild be great if I could get a contact no. for BraceOn to contact them for repleacements.

Dysfunctional
This product is made very cheaply. I am so disappointed. How could so many people write reviews saying it’s a good product? The strap that goes around the calf doesn’t even last five or six steps before it falls down to the smaller part of my leg. It’s useless for holding it in place on my leg. The heel area is also extremely small and painful for walking, I wonder if people who make these ever live in them or use them regularly. This product is yet another dysfunctional, disappointing and uncomfortable drop foot item.

Work Great!
They work well for my bi-lateral drop foot. I bought one for each foot.

The opening on the heel makes shoes hard to get on and off. The vertical portion by the ankle is not stiff enough, It’s quite flimsy. The shipping time was ridiculously long. For something temporary while I wait for my custom one to be built, it works fair.

The product could do with a bit more lift back towards the foot from the toes to hold the foot up more

This brace works wonderful, helps keep my foot in place as well as very sturdy. The two velcro straps hold everything in place and I don't think it would work as well with some of the ones I see with just one strap. The ankle strap is needed as much as the calf strap. Great product at a very reasonable price!!!
