I had a hen that looked like she was on her way to meet Jesus. I bought this and wow, what a difference! She is beautiful and fluffy once again.

We fed this mix to our buff silkie and our white silkie chickens. The white silkie won overall champion of all poultry in the county fair and he was just stunning to look at! The buff received a purple ribbon in her class and was also quite a beauty. The both won Blue ribbons at state fair this year as they were both still quite young. We are hoping for purple ribbons next year at State Fair. I tried to upload a photo but will try again later with some help. I highly recommend this fed for show birds. We used feed as a supplement to free range.

I've purchased this supplement several times and our girls LOVE it. We generally give it to them during molting season. High quality product.

I tried this once and it seemed to help. Since all my chickens are molting right now, I decided to go with the "8 pound economy size" this time to see if they re-feathered any faster. When it arrived, it felt a little light, so I weighed it. As you can see in the photo, the unopened bag only contains 6 pounds of supplement, not 8 as advertised (scale is extremely accurate). Seller has a "no return" policy. I could not find anyway to contact them directly regarding this issue. Only recourse was leaving this review. Do not recommend and will not buy again.

This product was so disappointing.First and foremost, it made no difference in feathers. Zero.Second, my chickens aren’t picky eaters at all and they didn’t like it. They would eventually eat it; but tried to avoid it.Lastly, the instructions say 1/4 cup PER BIRD per day. I have 12 chickens. That’s 3 cups per day. This small bag is $25 and would last 1 1/2 days. I don’t know a farmer or homesteader who could afford to feed it long enough to get the promised results.Will not buy again. 👎🏻

Our ladies were molting and stopped laying eggs earlier than normal — once we gave them this supplement mixed in with their chopped chard their feathers came back nice and healthy, they started laying eggs again.

Between the winter months, a bossy hen and an aggressive rooster, our poor silkies had all of their feathers plucked from their backs. We have tried a lot of topical supplements, additions to their dust bath, excessively cleaning the coop and nothing was helping. I am AMAZED with this stuff. We have been sprinkling a small to moderate amount in the coop run daily for them to snack on for only a weeks time, and my silkies are growing new feathers finally! I am so happy with this product and we will definitely be buying again to keep our flock happy and healthy :) would absolutely recommend not only to maintain fluffy feathers, but to help with regrowth

My girls absolutely LOVE this product! I have 16 hens, and every single one of them comes running the moment they see or hear the bag. I’ve been feeding this product in a separate pan in their run/pen so they don’t waste it. Since starting this supplement about a week ago, I’m already noticing new feather growth on what previously was bare skin. I would absolutely recommend this product!
