CravenSpeed Stubby Antenna Replacement for The Lexus IS300 | 4 inches

This product worked well for the replacement of my stock antenna on my '01 IS300. It is a much cleaner look than stock and the fitment is as it should be. My only gripe is that I took it back off to replace the antenna base attached to the car and the small threaded rod on the antenna came off the part. I was able to fix this, but it wouldn't be an issue if the manufacturer added Loctite to the threads during the building process.

Bought this for my 2001 IS300 to replace the OEM 16'' antenna since it was peeling. Super simple and straightfoward (it just screws on). No issue w/ the quality with an aftermarket radio. Some stations are a little static-y but works fine.

First it looks much much better then the factory antenna on my 2001 is300. I would say I get about 80% of the radio stations I got with the factory antenna. But I don't use the radio at all anyway.

I'm surprised and disappointed to see the high rating this antenna received. One reviewer gave it 3 stars even though they admitted it had poor reception and had to reinstall their old antenna - should only be 1 stars.I don't typically write reviews, however was compelled since I was mislead by 4.5 star rating...This antenna is approx 4" long vs. the standard antenna which is approx 12". I wanted to replace my old antenna since the out rubber was cracking and was beginning to rust internally. As soon as I replaced it with the 'stubby' most of my stations had some form of static (where previously there was none).I live less than 20 miles west of NYC and have never had a reception issue aside from sitting at a traffic light in a few spots. I will now need to find another antenna...Do not purchase unless you live very close to your radio stations - or don't need a working antenna.

Great fit on my 2002 IS300 SportCross.Relatively cheap upgrade from my crumbling OEM antenna.

Nice quality, feels heavy in the hand. Very easy install as advertised, just unscrew old antenna and screw this on! Very much updated the look of my 2002 Lexus IS300.

It is CRAPPY do not buy could not pick up any channels in my IS300. would not recommend to any one at all

Fit my is300 perfectly (no gap), absolutely no noticible difference in radio reception. I do however live close to Toronto so the CN Tower gives the GTA good reception. If you live in a rural area the smaller antenna may impact the reception. The built quality is also very nice, I had a cheap one before that felt like it weighed nothing, but this antenna has a nice weight to it!
