looking for PIP? find something else!
This is basically a switcher. The PIP function is useless. I only tried with two inputs, but it looks like the preview windows are 3fps... And way too small. Apparent processing / signal degredetation. And the preview has popped up twice without me using any remotes in the house.Item was cheap enough to not care, maybe I can think of something else to use it for.Update: Since this was not really useful at the time, I placed it in storage. Four years later I pulled it out to actually do some switching, knowing the pip feature was useless. It ran for about 36 hours and now all I get is a signal / green flash / distortion loop. Tried this with different cables, displays and sources. Left it unplugged for a few days, hook it up again and it starts borking immediately.

Not that great. If I were shopping again, I'd choose something else.
Not the PIP I thought I was getting. I saw the picture on the screen that showed 4 pictures in a split screen. Don't think that you can do that. You get three very small pip on the screen to choose from. I have a 55" television and the little pip are really small. You can really watch something in them. They are really for choosing which input you want to watch. It also has an annoying red power light that is really bright. A couple of times I've had to unplug it and plug it back in because the picture was shaking. It doesn't auto sense like I thought it would. Because my Roku is always on and my HTPC is always on. The device doesn't know which one I want. Even if I select Roku or Television and start to play them. The good news is that I can set it up on my harmony remote control and not have to use the little remote that comes with it.

Works exactly how you expect it to
This item works as described. I love that there is a physical button on the front of the device to switch between input sources when I misplace my remote. The pip works as I would expect, showing small pictures of the other input for you to see in order for you to switch to the other if wanted.

Works as Described with fast switching
Works well and as described, I am using it as a switch between a Raspberry Pi, Chromecast, Amazon Fire, and any 4th item I want to hook up as needed. The picture-in-picture works, but I originally thought it might be good for showing only one screen and one pict-in-pict... but all three PnP show even if nothing is connected. That's OK, but I originally wanted something for monitoring only two videos with the PnP a little larger.

Doesn't display 4 screens together as shown in photo
When I ordered this, the photo showed 4 screens visible at the same time, as did another purchaser. When I received the unit, it only shows small thumbnails of the other images. I see that the photos for the product have been changed, but when I was ordering it, it showed the four together. I used it for 3 different computer screens, and when switching from one to another, there is about a 3 second delay before the new input shows up on the display. To be fair, I don't know if that's the fault of the display monitor (Samsung LCD flat screen) or the aLLreli switcher.

Works as advertised
It works perfectly as a HDMI switch. Have never had a problem with it not working, and the video and audio is clear and lag-free on all the inputs.I don't use the PIP feature that much, and that's not really what this is designed for.

PIP a little small
Operates as expected. I was a little dismayed, however at how tiny the picture-in-picture is.

I finally found the HDMI switcher that works!
I am so happy I finally found an HDMI switcher that works! This was my fourth attempt, and it works like a charm. It works so well in fact, we ordered a second one for our computer desk's TV.
