I like the slo-mo as well.However, as a dash cam, it can't be used. It won't auto record once connected to power no matter what you do. Which sucks because the video footage has great details and can clearly record the cars' plate numbers.Thanks

When you are purchasing an Action Camera, you want it to be better than what you already have in your pocket - Your Phone. In my case I am comparing it to an iPhone XR for video and image quality.+ Wide Angle Lens+ Small body+ Two Batteries+ Rechargable+ Low Cost ~ 80 when purchased~ Image Stabilization just OK~ Slow Motion OK, not as good as Iphone XR- Poor Picture quality compared to an iPHone XR-- Image Distortion and no way to compensate-- Poor Audio Quality both out of case and in case- Case needed for water resistance.I really wanted a cheaper alternative to a GoPro for our trip. I purchased the X30 along with some memory cards to support video on the trip. Overall I just wasn't impressed with the image, software, or battery life. I did like the size and the additional attachments that came with the device.The Campark X30 is an action camera that can record at 4k 60FPS allowing you to capture all of the action of speedy events. The overall image quality that it captures is on par with cell phones. The wide angle lens allows for all of the action in front of you to be captured.I used this device to record a kids play and to do some testing and was disappointed when my iPhone outpreformed the camera on video and image quality. Especially in darker settings the XR image was just a better quality. What frustrated me most however is how much the wide angle lens distored straight lines. I found no way to compensate for the distorted image (Like there is with a GoPro)I was also disappointed with the microphone, here again the XR microphone recorded at a much higher quality.Overall, I think if you are using this underwater where you don't care about audio quality or the image distortion, the device is a good one, it would be simple to attach to a dive mask or helmet, and record some quality footage. In all other settings however, I was disappointed.

I purchased this camera because we go camping a lot and like to ride our quads. We figured we would give this little camera a try since we like to record our trips. I must say WOW! I records in 4K 60fps and the clarity is great! We were able to record us riding our quads and the quality came out fantastic. It is a touch screen camera and it is super easy to use. It comes with so many accessories and the case it comes with makes it water proof. It takes a micro sd card. You can record videos and take pictures and you can play back your videos too. It comes with various modes for video taking like slow motion and various picture options like burst. It also has various options for resolution like 4k 60fps to 720 30fps. You can also connect it to WIFI and use the DV King 4k app to control it with your phone. This camera is comparable to those other expensive action cameras but you can't beat this camera for the price and the quality it shoots in. I highly recommend it!

Its about time to jump to the 4k camera bandwagon, BUT I not in a capacity to spend $350 for the real big player GoPro7 out there. No way I'm going to spend that money for a gadget I seldom use anyway. So I settled for a much lesser value action camera out there that is around 1/3 of the cost. So if your like me, looking for a budget 4k action cam with almost same functionality with top leading brands; then I guess we are on the same page. My experience so far is fantastic. The camera is user friendly thus far to me and quality wise its somehow comparable to top brands models. I compare it to my friends GoPro 5 and they are very similar to my eyes. I am not a professional to examine the quality of a certain picture but to my level its really comparable. I have not try to compare it though to the latest model. The only downside that I see in this camera is that; there is no remote control (physical) available but they compensate it with the wifi or wireless capability though the app. So its not that of a big deal to me. The product looks durable and to my surprise the battery last quite sometime in a single charge. I cant just speak about the durability or longevity of the item cause I just have it for 2-3 weeks now, but all this actually depends on how we take good care of our gadgets.

There are so many of these small Chinese cameras that I chose a mid priced one thinking it might be ok, I just wanted a super small camera to immerse in water and this seemed like a good fit. Boy was I wrong.This camera has three problems, 1- it is nowhere near high resolution (I expected that), the optics suck (I also expected that) but if it could be dunked underwater I would have been ok with this, but the underwater case works on a simple latch locking mechanism that is held in place by one small screw which is itself simply screwed into the plastic body of the case. Meaning if it comes undone, the threads will strip and it will never tighten. When I got it, the latch was already broken and fixing it was not possible. Junk junk junk

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  For me, its a great camera that I can take where I cant take my mirrorless - namely in the pool on holiday.The video quality is ideal for what I need - 4K is good, yet I still prefer 1080 and with this camera I get the option of shooting at 30, 60 and 120 FPS at 1080.Stabilisation seems to work well too - essential with the camera being so light and held the way it is.Having a touchscreen is actually very useful as it saves you going through multiple menu cycles to get to the setting you need; in this camera the screen is pretty sensitive so it works well.Its quick to start up and responds well to button presses and the wifi connectivity with the supplied app on my android phone worked well.In the box there is the usual raft of accessories to clamp it on to most things - the only thing i will purchase is a stabilisation device for even smoother filming.This is being passed onto my daughter as a cheaper - but very effective - big brand alternative.The image quality and flexibility make this camera a serious alternative to spending 4 times the amount!

I’ve used a few cheap GoPro copies in the past and they’ve been simple to use and work relatively well.I bought this at over twice the price of my last one and although the picture quality is better, the usability is very disappointing.My findings:The Loop mode doesn’t overwrite the oldest file, so it just fills up the card, and then stops recording. The screen says loop mode at the bottom, and I asked customer service if there was a firmware upgrade but they sent me a link to a video and the link didn’t work. I asked them to resend it but didn’t receive a reply.There is a screensaver mode which you can set (Mine’s on 30 seconds) but when you come to stop recording (after pressing a button to bring the screen back to life) you only have about 2 or 3 seconds before it goes blank again. Not the 30 seconds that you would expect.The top led indicator is obscured by the waterproof case so you can’t see it. Just poor design.The battery life is dire on 4K.So all in all, a bit disappointing and not the best customer service I had either.Would I buy it again? No not this particular one unless the bugs are sorted out.Update March 2021:After using it through the cold winter, I found that the battery was lasting15 minutes after an overnight charge. So if you want so me thing to record your winter sports activities I would look elsewhere.

I've been looking for an occasional Dashcam for a while. Think I've previously ordered 4 and returned them all as they weren't fit for my purposes. The main reasons were that the controls were fiddly or over complex, and/or the fact that they requred a permanent power supply. I wanted something small, easy to operate and (probably most important) battery powered as I didn't want trailing wires in the car. I've tried hiding cables behind the windscreen trim but in my car the trim doesn't move so I'd either have to fix it on top of the glass or have it trailing down the windscreen , neither of which were acceptable. I could have had one hard wired, but as I only really wanted it for long journeys, particularly when towing a caravan, it wasn't worth it. I also didn't really want one on show all the time either as I'll remove it when not in use. Tempting fate.Anyway as all the Dashcams for sale on Amazon and elsewhere appear to require a power supply I started looking at Action Cams instead. These have varying battery life but this comes with two 1350 mAh batteries, which is probably higher capacity than most. Two fully charged batteries should be more than enough for what I need it for, and as it comes with a USB charger you can recharge in the car if you have to.On to accessories, it comes with a bewildering range of adpaters to fix it to nearly everything except a car windscreen. Can't really complain as that's not what it's sold as, and I got one for £5.99 the day after it arrived. It also has a useful looking waterproof enclosure but not sure I'll be needing that...I'm not a great instruction book reader, well not until I've found out how it works, so I often judge gadgets on how long it takes me to work them out. I had most of the features I'll be needing sussed out within 10 minutes so that speaks for itself. I've had a skim through the instructions and they seem clear, and the functions are on the whole intuitive so I'm not expecting any problems.Build quality is excellent - it feels well built and isn't a lightweight piece of kit. In particular the touch screen is a great addition. It's clear, responsive and uncluttered. All the information you need is dispalyed while it's recording, and the screen switches off afer 30 seconds so it's not distracting and saves battery power too. Once it's set up, turning on and starting recording is a two button job. I've not explored the wifi functions as not sure I'll be needing them, but it's there if you want it.I've reviewed the quality of the video on the 1080p/30fps/medium quality setting and it looks fine. No doubt I'll be experimenting with other settings but as this is somewhere in the middle it'll probably be the one to use.I've previously used my phone to record bits of video if I've needed to but with this handy little device I can see me using it a lot more than perhaps I anticipated.As with any new bit of kit it'll be a few weeks before I've 'bottomed' all the functions but first impressions are good. Unlike the previous purchases this won't be going back by return of post!

This camera is amazing for the price i paid for it, on Amazon sale for £39.99 i think they normally sell for between 70-100 pounds. Upon opening box i found camera and case well packaged with a separate box of mounts and accessories, also 2 yes thats right 2!!!! Batteries, quickly charged one and got it in camera, i have to add here im one of those people who never read instructions, on switching on camera your greeted with a little instructional few swipe screens, but tbh you dont really need them this camera is so easy to navigate through, ive owned a few and i normally get fed up of constantly going back and forward because ive pressed wrong button, but with this you cant go wrong. Build quality is nice not premium but not cheap, accessories are as good as any other action camera out there. Now to quality of flim, i was a little disappointed that in 4k you dont seem to have image stabilization, but it doesn't really effect results, in other formats apart from high frame rates you have stabilization there and its good, colour is nice seems pretty much neutral, and sound is also ok. Now its an action camera and its going to get knocked, and at this price with this quality i don't think you can go wrong
