Journeyman Leather Belt | Made in USA | Mens Leather Belt | Full Grain Leather Belts for Men

I purchased this belt in black & brown to replace one I bought here (made in the Orient); the Orient one (guess where?) came with a strong chemical odor which did not dissipate after a week of airing. I returned it and the UPS store asked me what was in the package that smelled so bad. So I searched for other belts and found most "name brand" ones were also foreign made, even though some had USA components (why ship components to a foreign country then have them shipped back here???). Anyway the USA belts are perfect size (I bought them 2 sizes larger than pant size), heavy duty but not stiffer than expected, NO ODOR! and the buckles are great but can be changed off because the loop is not sewn on but closed with snaps of a sort (I think you need a screwdriver or other tool). Very happy with these belts. Edited: the belts are OK but I decided to take advantage of their "lifetime guarantee" which you have to do online - the literature which came with the belts states "at seller's discretion" so what kind of guarantee is that?

This is a thick and sturdy belt that I believe will last a long time. I removed a star for two reasons...The prong is cut square instead of rounded (see picture). It is not sharp, but if you wear your shirt untucked and lean forward onto something, you will soon wear a hole in your shirt. If you are a mechanic, you had better not lean on your customer's car while wearing this! It would have been nice if they had rounded that off at the factory.The edges look a bit unfinished and fuzzy. I am not sure if the fibers are from the leather or some type of cloth backing like other reviews suggest, but I did trim some off of the end tip to make it look better. This doesn't ruin the function of the belt at all, but it did affect my first impression.

I like how main street advertises their product and delivers what they say they will deliver and stand behind their product. It is truly made in the USA, including the buckle. And to have a lifetime guarantee / warranty to back it up really shows they believe in the product they are making and selling. The craftsmanship is excellent.

I’ve used a black version of this belt for several years and it still looks new. Love it! Top quality, you could tow a car with this thing! The brown color is like shown online, I do wish it was a smidge lighter in color but close enough for my purposes. They suggest buying 2” larger than your waist but I don’t think that was necessary for me, the size is generous.

I am hoping this will be a Great belt. My wife bought a Great belt when she was in Italy years ago. It still works great but the black has long since worn off.I am hoping!!!

This is a substantial piece of leather belt. As expected it was initially a bit stiff but after a week it softened up. It feels like a product that is durable and will last a long time.

No complaints - great quality product.
