I did not buy this for food. I mix colors for polymer clay and wanted to be able to mix by weight. This scale is accurate and very easy to use straight out of the box. It does not have an off button, so every time you turn it on, it stays on until the inactive timer turns it off, this may use the battery up faster. Also took me a minute to figure out that pushing on twice calibrated it. In other words, if you have something on it and then turn it on, it resets to zero (for incremental weighting I guess), if you lift it off, the scale will read a negative number, pushing on again resets the empty scale to zero.

Extremely sensitive, easy to use and small to store. It has four different scales of measurement. You can measure in ounces and convert to grams by simply pushing the button to change measurement mode. If you put a bowl on it and turn it on, it will start at 0, or you can add weight and tare it (power button marked tare also) and start at 0 again. I have been keeping track of what I eat and this is an easy way to measure and be precise. Only con is the display is not backlit, but that means I won't be changing the battery for a long time.

About the only thing this little scale doesn't do is weigh things that are huge, and weigh things that are in micrograms. Also it's black which is cool.

This is an extremely light weight plastic scale but does the job just fine. Easy to use.

I love this kitchen scale! I had a more expensive scale, and it quit working after getting wet. I replaced it with this one after reading the reviews. It’s better than the expensive scale. The tare function is fast! I can switch modes quicker too. I may order another one in case they stop making this scale. If you measure food portions a lot, this one is for you.

Great brand but very small - any bowl covers up the display. The larger rectangle Triomph digital scale is superb for the same price and does not have this problem.

This scale is the best kitchen scale I’ve ever used. It lasted me over 6 years, the only reason I had to replace it was because of an unfortunate accident otherwise it was still going strong! I’m looking forward to using my second one!

This scale is simple, accurate, and easy to store. If you are looking for something with a lot of features, this probably isn't the best for you. But it works great for someone who just needs to weigh things (I use it for sourdough making). The price is extremely reasonable. I will say the circle you put stuff to weigh on is pretty small, which is ok for me, but something to keep in mind.

I use this for my candle making business! It's very important for my business. I thought it wouldn't be like my last one because my last one broke and was really expensive. So I said why buy another one if it's going to break so fast? So I got this one instead. I've been using it for almost 2 days straight and no problems at all. I love it. So no more expensive scales for me. I'll be using this one. It's way easier to use and the price is super good!
