The price was very good, and I got them very quickly. I have just started playing the mandolin and I had bought an instrument off of Craig's list with a broken string. Because I am a beginner, I don't have the experience to speak as an expert, but I can say they sound good to me and they have been on my instrument for about a week and are settling down and not getting very far out of tune from day to day, so the stretching is already almost done with them. My friend who has played for a number of years told me that this brand of strings are very good, and the price I paid was cheaper than I could have paid for them here in a music store in our city.

These strings not only saved my hands but they give a sweet ringing sound. I play all genres. They’re great for international folk dance music, Irish, Italian Bulgarian, etc. now buying another set for my other mandolin.

Great strings used to fix up an old Kentucky mandolin. They play great and were easy to change. They broke in quickly, nothing to complain about.

The strings have a nice sweet sound, are not rough on the fingers, and are relatively quiet - everything I was looking for in a mandolin string (I’m teaching myself mandolin and I live in an apartment building). The only problem I have is that the very last E string I put on my mandolin snapped before it was even close to being tuned; luckily I had ordered two sets so I didn’t have to go without a string, but it makes me question the longevity of these. However, given that these are relatively cheap, I’m not too concerned because it only happened with one string so far.

Meine Günstige Mandoline klingt gleich viel besser mit diesen Saiten und durch die Stärke kann ich auch einen ganzen Ton tiefer stimmen ohne Spannung und dadurch klang ein büßen zu müssen
