After my memorable visit to Kyoto, I had the privileged opportunity to tour Sheyido's incense factory, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was immediately struck by the palpable passion and dedication evident in every aspect of their craft.The scents offered by Sheyido are truly exceptional. Whether it's the soothing essence of sandalwood or the delicate fragrance of cherry blossom, each aroma is meticulously crafted to perfection. It's like being transported to a serene oasis with every whiff.Having experienced firsthand the superior quality of Sheyido's incense, I simply can't imagine turning to any other brand. Nice quality and scent

These have such a warm, comforting scent. The smoke isn't as dense as cheaper brands and it doesn't leave a stale smell afterward- if anything, I'm a little disappointed when it fades. Doesn't bother my allergies unless I'm right on top of it. Very little ash to clean up.These are thin, short sticks that have a short burning time and I honestly like that about them. I can light one in my room and relax without having to get up to put it out midway.

I like to burn incense, but am super picky about what I will use. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave a lot of options. I found a shop in Huntington WV when I was in college that sold the coils of this incense individually back in the 90s and when they shut down, I forgot about it for years. One day, I thought of it and looked on Amazon, and there it is! I like the smaller sticks better so I can be frugal with my incense use. It's hella expensive, but so worth it because the scent is something I really love, so I just use it sparingly. It doesn't have a really heavy smell, and doesn't make the room smoky. It's just a nice, earthy, spicy scent that is so perfect, I didn't forget about it 20 years later.

Warning --these are very small --About the length of a toothpick and half. The box they come in in smaller than a deck of cards. However, they smell amazing and the scent lasts after they burn out. I would not pay this much again for them but they are awesome.

The best scent of any japanese incense. I only use japanese incense, but this is my new favorite.
