This shelf is very sturdy on the wall. The hooks are easy to use and feel good as well. The only issue I had was the top of the cubby is not perfectly parallel to the bottom of the shelf. Minor details and not noticeable on the wall.

I'd buy anything from these folks again. This came in great shape and looks wonderful on my wall. I grew up with a father who made fine furniture and I have a full shop, but no time to build stuff, so I know good workmanship. This is top notch. Do not hesitate to buy this. It is real wood, no fiberboard. And the price is incredibly reasonable.

Bought the 5-hook, Wood Cubby Coat Rack Shelf Wall Mounted, Mission, 5 Hook, Oak Wood, Michaels Stain. Asked them to make it with 7 hooks instead of 5, that cost a whopping $10 more. Was packed to perfection. Waited about 5 weeks but they stated that up front. Worth the wait.
