Nice product, doing exactly what I need.I really like this item, which is a chair in the study, but easily converts to steps to get up to the drop-down sleeping platform.This 'metamorphic' chair, took a lot of putting together, but it was manageable and relatively straight forward .... better to use a proper Phillips screwdriver for screws, than the smaller one provided.Nice to be provided with gloves to protect your hands.The only niggle is that the nonslip adhesive pads for the feet are black so are very conspicuous on a white painted object, on a pale floor - but I am sure I can source an alternative that is white or clear.

Very strong item

A clever design that is ideal for the small flat. It's a little awkward to assemble as the guide holes are not always perfectly aligned (not as refined in manufacture as IKEA). Assembly sheet entirely in Chinese so you need to painstakingly interpret the diagrams. Not all illustrations are clear so you have to guess as you go along. Looks sturdy but I'd be wary of putting too much weight (possibly not ideal if you're heavyset and plan to use as stepladder a lot..) Overall okay for the price.
