I love these things. Keeping up with the scope cover is a nightmare. Great quality l, they fit perfect. They slide right on. Very functional

Fit and function good. They went on snug but they feel like there's room to make them tighter. But that's just a matter of perception. One tip for scope caps - warm up the rubber part. Not with flame! Heat gun or hair dryer will do the trick.

Just got these today but seem very well made and fit perfectly. Good looking, and decent value for price, worth it to protect scope. Quality lids, would expect nothing less from Vortex, enjoy their scopes and great warranty.

Great build quality compared to cheaper ones. Easy to install and does a great job keeping my scope clean and protected. Would definitely buy again. I installed on my 3-9 straight wall scope.

The set with the size 50 objective fit my 4-16x50 Viper HSLR very well. They are a little harder (compared to butler creek) to get on; but I would hope that also means they are harder to come loose/off. It is because of the longer section of silicone on each cap. A little annoying, but better grip. It took no longer than a minute or two to get them on, going back and forth from side to side; pulling a little more down each time. Read the measurements for each size, then measure your scope or check mfg specs, and you should find the right fit. They function fine, but do require a little more effort to snap open than the red button/trigger style butler creek caps. Once it's loose, the springs flip them right open. One thing that is annoying is that with the eyepiece closed, I cannot cycle the bolt. It bumps one of the opening tabs. Normally you wouldn't be cycling the bolt with the eyepiece closed. I always store my rifle in the safe with the bolt fully open. Yes, the other 99% of the time you would not be cycling the bolt without the eye piece open, but whatever. The butler creek only has a tab on the left side, which would not affect my bolt. It's not a huge thing, and I can probably trim the tab down or off with my dremel. I am being a little picky and also referencing butler creek a lot bc they're the only other brand I've ever used. I assume if somebody is reading this, they're probably considering both brands (as they're in the same price range). Overall they're fine and much better than the bikini covers, just a couple of things worth mentioning.

These are great scope caps, as a kid I always used butler creek. These are a definitive upgrade, i was tempted to get tenebrex or something with some clout, but whats the point these are practically bomb proof and come with a lifetime warranty, the 3 positions for the scope caps being open to is trick. I really like these, first time with a vortex product which is funny because I was a member of snipershide in 2010 or whenever they started advertising their products on there lol. 15 years later I can say, like everyone else seemingly. Great value product! at less then half the price of the other competitors, its honestly a no brainer.....
