For use as a pool float, yes! Great quality, cute design. No issues from me. I gave it a perfect rating because that was the intended purpose of the product. However... For use as a bed after BBL surgery, no. It’s a good idea in theory, but executing it is a lot more of a pain, in my opinion. I used this for the first 3 nights post op. You have to use many pillows to lift the float up so your bum doesn’t touch the ground. Also, I positioned mine in front of a couch so I could elevate my feet. It slides all around and you need to reposition it and the pillows-it’s just a mess. Super hard to get out of too when you’re fresh out of surgery. But, my biggest problem was that the hole is too big and you end up sliding down in the hole then all the fluid falls into your groin/lower abdomen and you wake up with a fupa that is extremely tender, heavy and painful with each step you take. I ended up just using a recliner and pillows behind my upper thighs and lower back. That worked the best in my experience and it is what my doctor had recommended to me.

I love my avocado float! I bought it for a recent river / float trip so I could stretch out, instead of being cramped on top of a tube. It was very comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on it, too. We did 5 'floats' of about 2 hours each over the course of 3 days, and for the most part it held up very well. It did seem to lose a little bit of air after a short while - I didn't notice any leaks, so maybe that was just because it was new? After filling it the first day, I think I topped off twice before starting a float, and once directly on the river (surprisingly easy, even with me sitting on it). It was never in a situation of *needing* air, it just got slightly mushy, as avocados tend to do. The float has two openings for inflation - a larger one that will fit a pump and a smaller one with a gasket/valve so you can fill it with your mouth without losing air. The larger plug does come out kind of easy when you're pulling open the smaller one - when I went to top-off, I accidentally pulled the larger plug and lost more air, so had to spend a little more time re-filling it. All in all, though, I love it and am happy with my purchase. I didn't expect it to survive the weekend, but it did, and I'll even be able to use it next time! Would definitely buy again!

So all in all this is a great float. The spot to inflate the float is awesome, it doesn’t release air when you remove the pump so you don’t have to scramble to get it closed as quickly as possible in the fear of losing air. The only downside is I can’t use this to tan my back while pregnant. The top part of the avocado fills with more air than the bottom so when you lay down on it your body bends awkwardly. It started hurting my back after about 20 minutes. It’s great for laying on your back though if you’re a reader - it acts more like a recliner chair so you aren’t flat trying to hold your book/kindle awkwardly over your head. Great float but I’ll continue to hunt for an inexpensive pregnancy float! Still giving it 5 starts because it’s not technically a “pregnancy float” so I don’t want to knock a star off for me trying to use it for something it’s not intended for, it’s a great float at the end of the day!

Finally tried inflating it and before I could inflate the ball (pearl), the shell was deflated. I understand that inflatables are prone to leaking air, but not brand new ones, and I'm past the return date (still even have the box). Ugh! I would not recommend.

It is HUGE and durable. We loved this for the day (great for photos and a laugh), but sadly it's not the best. The downsides: the hole is huge and even as a grown adult you had to make effort to not just fall through. It was better when it was inflated to the max, but the inner part is not a separate blow up from the rest of it, so then the inner part bulged a ton. Overall, just pretty hard to get comfortable on it. All of your body weight goes to the thinnest round part at the bottom of the avocado and then the back sticks out of the air a lot and pitches you forward.

Great floatie. I used this to lay on my stomach while super pregnant and was in pure bliss. The hole is big, so I needed support with a blanket for what I was using it for, but it was also great for an adult (non pregnant) to sit in and use in the lake.

Muy cómodo y divertido. Solo que la pelota (hueso del aguacate) necesita que le hagas un hoyito a la válvula para poder inflarse. Viene totalmente sellado.

Lo compré para recuperación de un BBL y funcionó excelente, la primera noche dormí en mi cama sin él y sentí como dormir sobre piso duro, las siguientes noches ya con él pude descansar. Hay que inflarlo con una bomba para no cansarse, y para que no quede tan alto recomiendo colocar el colchón sin base sobre el piso y encima el aguacate, y rellenar un poco el hueco con cobijas para mayor comodidad. Ahora que ya no lo necesito, se lo regalé a mis sobrinos y ellos felices.

Yes, I recommend the avocado float. Super fun.
