Great Americans George Washington Bust - Founding Father Collection

This small replica of the Houdon bust, commissioned by Washington himself, now has an honored place on my shelf.The bust and base, shy of six inches, is weighted heavily enough. The bust itself is a very good replica of the one by Jean-Antoine Houdon. The figure of Washington isn't stone but some synthetic material that none-the-less looks good. To my eyes, it isn't white, but has a slightly yellow cast like ivory,For the money, I consider this well detailed replica bust to be a five star product.

Great small piece of our founding father. I subtracted one star cause it's smaller than I thought it would be.

My Wife is a great patriot (me too). Christmas present. stands about 6" tall. Only thing is a lot of his chest is showing. My wife made a shirt (out of a napkin) for him so he looks more dignified. Can't beat George on your desk.

Very well made and - now that I've become sloppily sentimental in my old age - genuinely inspiring. Just be aware that it's rather small, so don't expect to use it as a centerpiece in your entrance hall.

A tad smaller than expected. It's not a centerpiece, it's a side piece. Very well made, however, and weighty, not hollow plastic or anything. Feels expensive, fantastic finish.

Excellent detail, and the perfect size for my desk. I also purchased the Thomas Jefferson Bust, and the same holds true for it. I would recommend these busts to anyone who has limited space to display their likeness. Again, they are well made, and I'm not the least bit disappointed.

This George Washington bust is great. It feels and looks like it would cost much more. I wanted a smaller sculpture for a small room that I was renovating into a history room and it fits to a tea.
