Update 2/2017 - changed from 3 to 5 stars because it is still going strong almost 4 years later.When my Axess 15.4" tv arrived the LED panel was loose inside of the plastic case. I plugged the TV in and it worked and I did not feel like sending it back so I took out the 8 screws holding the case together and re-positioned the LED panel and then screwed it back together. Now it is not moving around like it was before but it still feels a little loose. If it comes loose again i will try to find some thin weatherstrip to put around the panel before I screw the case back together to give it something to clamp to.It comes with a remote control, a base that can be removed, 12v cigarette lighter power cable, and a 120/240v wall outlet power cable.It has lots of inputs and outputs which is why I thought this was a much better product to purchase than the portable dvd players to use in a car. However, I have already discovered that the USB input can only be used to view pictures and play songs, and video output (the yellow RCA jack) does not work when connected to another TV. I am not sure if there is just something wrong with my unit or if this is a design issue. My plan is to velcro a Micca Spec Digital Media Player to the back of this and then hang the panel on the back of the front seats of my minivan for the kids to watch on trips. I was thinking about putting one on the back of each seat and using the video output to supply to the other TV but now I think that I will just use the one since the output does not work and I dont want to take the chance of ordering another TV and have its output also not work.This TV is pretty light so I am planning to use some nylon straps and screw them on to the wall mount nuts on the back of the TV then strap them around either the seats or the arm rests, what ever works out the best.I posted some pictures so you can see the variety of inputs and outputs available.I gave it 3 stars due to the loose LED panel, the USB input that would not work to play movies, and the video output that will not work. However, if this is still working after 1 or 2 years then I would consider bumping it up to 4 or 5 stars since.

I bought this little T.V. because it had the option of 12 volt DC or 120 volt AC. I use it on my boat and I wanted the 12 volt option. The T.V. requires an external antenna and the antenna I bought to use with it (a GE 24769 Digital Antenna) is an active antenna, it needs power, and it runs on AC only. So I am running both the TV and the antenna through a small 50 watt inverter plugged into a 12 volt outlet.The boat is outside Houston, TX, and when I first tested the system the T.V. found 37 digital broadcast channels, 9 were noisy or pixelated, the other 28 came in crisp and clear with good color. At low to medium volume the sound is OK, at high volume its not so good, it starts to loose it definition and sound tinny. The antenna is only 10.5 feet off the water so 37 (28 watchable) channels is pretty good. The boat is small, just 28 feet long, so we are pretty close to the TV when its on, about like a van or big truck, so the sound is not really a problem.I like this little TV, so far I think it is a good buy.

As it turned out, I had a very specific measurement to deal with for installing in my motor home. It was just a little bit too wide for the space, which was my fault for not getting an accurate enough measurement. So, at the moment the TV is back in the box. On the plus side, I did plug it in and check it out. It delivers a great picture right out of the box. I would recommend it to anyone needing an ac/dc TV.

Received the Axess Flat Screen in Great Shape, Thanks UPS !!! Took it out to the Ice Castle and hooked it up. Beautiful picture on 110 Volt. Then came the big test 12 Volt. Again, I was surprised, Beautiful picture with no antenea hooked up. Next I hooked it to the 12 Volt converter, Worked Great !!!!

I was suprised how good the picture is on this TV.The TV is super light, due to its light plastic body, the screen is bright and clear, has Vesa mounting holes on the back, channel scan is fair, I get 6 OTA channels indoors with my home made bowtie antenna which is not bad as they are about 50 miles from me and thru trees.I did not get it to use as a TV and plan to use it as a portable monitor, it has a full complement of inputs, vga, hdmi, svga and standard rca.12v hookup works fine.

I got this for my Boat and I wished I would've gone with a bigger screen and I could see a blur on ESPN when they scroll the scores. I would say this might be 720P but the refresh rate is maybe 60HZ- I would look at other TV's.

this TV has a very nice frame. i noticed when i turned it on it had a tiny green dot in a random spot on the screen that doesn't go away.. i hope this doesn't spread into more dots. also the viewing angle from below is terrible. so you can't have the tv up high and then sit down. also the sound isn't great. but that's predictable since it's a small tv. but at least the speakers are in the front.

small tv so maybe my expectations were too high, but simply added external speakers easily (jacks on back of tv) so I now get acceptable sound.color and resolution are excellentfits standard wall mounting bracket . I mounted inside a cabinet in my rv.
