Q: How long and good is the para cord?

About 10 feet, it's not the best cord, but makes great boot laces. I'd say its 440 cord or some kind of knockoff para cord.

Behind the silver washer is a turn knob. Turn it counter-clockwise to lock the shovel.

Q: How do i attach the molle compatible e-tool pouch to a pack?

I’m not sure unless you “repackage “ it. I’ve purchased 3, because cost vs. supplies is a great value. I opened one to “view” and then stowed it inside a mole attachment bag I had that I’d fit perfectly into. It doesn’t have the standard “mole” type straps/clips, etc. so I was disappointed with that, Howe, it’s a pretty good kit. For cars, BOB’s, rucks, or camping. I have way bigger ones(trauma) kits I’ve built myself, but all in all, good price for good “standard” emergency necessities.
