Polish Pottery Butter Dish - European size
Bought this for my daughter who presently works in Europe. European butter "cubes" are about the size of 2 American sticks put together, about 8 ounces worth, so an American sized butter dish requires one to cut the large cube lengthwise to fit. My daughter had expressed a wish for a larger butter dish and I was pleased to find a selection on Amazon. I sent her this one, and got another one in my pattern for myself. She was very happy to get this beautiful butter dish. Amazon truly does have everything from A to Z..... :-) Plus it was extremely well, and safely, packaged to arrive in perfect condition.

The picture is deceiving; middle of the dish is quite empty; bubble is the glaze. I returned it. Nice bright colors though...
