Good, but there are equally good, much cheaper aftermarket alternatives
An exact match of the one it replaces on my Hayward multi-port. This gauge is not sealed at the bottom. Over the years the old one collected moisture, cobwebs, and other gunk - eventually giving false readings, then finally sticking at one reading. It appears this will do the same - as will the similar after-market versions. No doubt it would do better top mounted on the filter rather than side mounted on the multiport where rain water can easily enter from the bottom. I was able to take apart the old one, clean it and restore it, but you will need a new one to confirm correct pressure readings after cleaning. I also have a much cheaper after-market gauge which I highly recommend. It is essentially identical in design and quality. Seamless Replacement
The look and build quality of this item are very well done. Easy to use and install. No leakage and the accuracy of the readings seems to be spot on. Easily readable too!

Gauge Used for a Water Well
Good build quality and value for the money. It was easy to install on my water well pump. The gauge is easy to read and accurate. Nice looking gauge.

Was a Replacement Part for a Broken Guage
I have a pool that uses a Hayward sand filter. The filter has a gauge on it, mine was broken. The idea is that as the sand filter traps whatever it traps from your pool recirculation, the pressure increases and tells you when to backwash your sand filter. After backwash and rinse, the pressure decreases because you cleaned all the "stuff" from your filter.Maybe you do this, maybe you don't. I generally backwash when it rains and I have excess water in the pool (when you backwash you lose water). But during the dry season, this means I may go extended time between backwash and sand filter maintenance. My pressure gauge was broken, I simply replaced with the same model.Installation was plenty easy, it comes pre-wrapped with thread sealant. Turn the pump off, unscrew the old gauge, screw the replacement gauge in, turn on the pump and get data. I find that when the gauge reads 20+ psi, it is time to backwash the sand filter, but your data may vary.
