These drapes are a showstopper. The color and quality are perfect. True blackout—not sheer. Love them.

The curtains are a great quality for the price. The drape is good and they are not too stiff. I didn’t feel like paying $200+ for curtains and the designer I work with suggested these. Very happy I made the purchase.

I almost didn't purchase these because the company is Half Priced Drapes but the price seemed really high. I don't want an expensive half priced drape. I loved the Azul color because I thought it would go well with my teal, gray and taupe color scheme. Teals and aquas are my color pops, so the drapes would be a great pop against my mostly neutral palette. I spent hours scouring Amazon looking for something like the Azul color because I thought a half price drape should be less expensive. I found nothing that compared to the color so I bit the bullet and bought the curtains.I was shocked by the quality of these drapes. The main material is thick and rich in pigment...simply gorgeous. They look like real silk. The quality really shows in the lining. Not only do you get a regular white lining, you get a third thick cotton fleece type lining for the thermal and sound dampening.I also hesitated to buy this because I wanted something easy to hang with grommets. I had never hung anything with a hook belt. I did research and found you buy the hooks and the rings separately, so I did. After ironing the curtain, I laid it on the floor, lining side up, then I kneeled on the curtain and ran the hook up through the material. The material is so thick that I had to kneel on the curtain so it stayed in place while I pushed the hook through the hook belt, which took a lot of force. I also included a little of the material with the hook so the hook was more secure and not floppy. The hook belt alone is easier but the hooks just flop around without being threaded through a little of the material too. Just be careful not to run the hook through the outside layer because then you would see the metal when they're hung. I placed the hooks so that they were 1/4" below the top of the curtain, but I should have placed them 1/2" below, but it still worked. I placed 7 hooks every 8 inches per panel and then threaded the rings and then hung onto the rod.

I bought 3 panels in charming gold. I recommend buying one more panel than you think you'll need if you want a nice and full look on your window. The fabric is very good quality, for both the top piece and the back piece. These are truly black-out panels, which I what I wanted. I'm only rating as 3 start due to the measurements. These are supposed to be 50 x 84. However, all three panels are short in both width and length. The width isn't so much of an issue as the length is. The panels measure 84" on one side but go down by 1+" on the other. I've adjusted my drapery pins as much as possible, but I didn't want to return yet another panel. I had already returned a set of panels due to the dye lots not matching, and the colors were completely different for each panel. HPD clearly has some major quality control issues when it comes to measurements. I see other buyers have had the same problem with measurements.

The way these drapes are made is good quality work. The seams are straight and there are no threads hanging anywhere. I also like the fabric. The color is much cooler in person.Now for the issues. I bought these drapes for a nursery. The brand claims it’s a room darkening curtain, and that statement is a very far stretch. They are light filtering while providing privacy at most. There are 3(!) layers of fabric there, 2 of which are liners. And they still couldn’t manage to make it room darkening. In summer time the sun shines right through them making an entire room pink in color… this isn’t what I was going for in the child’s bedroom. They used cheap thin fabric all around 3 layers instead of using one quality liner which would have cost the same amount. I had to purchase additional blackout liners for these :( making it layer #4The big joke is the pleater tape or the heading tape. 1” heading tape is never ever used on thick drapery panels, sheer drapes or cafe curtains only! These drapes weigh a ton for one, for two- that claim that you can put pleater hooks in it is simply false. Not with a 1” heading tape. If you did, half of the hook would be visible from the front and that’s a big NO-NO!Last but not least, I needed to hem these to fit my 8 foot wall, I always go for 95” drapes and customize the length. These drapes nearly broke my sewing machine because the sides of the drape as discovered had 13 layers of fabric??? I had to cut it out from the side, I couldn’t go the right way about it because it was just a mess. It’s one of those times where you better not look in the back of the curtains. They clearly didn’t make them in a way they could be hemmed like normal curtains.And the little weights at the bottom rip through the thin fabric the minute you wash the drapes. I don’t know why they put them in this curtain at all.I will eventually replace these for room darkening curtains that are hopefully not like this.

Was pleased with the quality and heavy fabric of the curtains. Very good price and deal.

I loved the brown curtains I have and ordered a dark gray for a change in decor. Extremely disappointed, you can see the quality difference. The grey are not blackout and perhaps that would have helped to not see the dismal quality of the taffeta. The brown have no such issues if I lift up the lining. In person it’s a dramatic quality difference. Sadly,I will have to find something else

It’s so beautiful and chic, exactly as I was expecting, Little pricey but totally worth it. Can’t wait to hang it on my window
