Perfect accompaniment for any Coleman Grill
It's the perfect carrying case for my Coleman Grill. There is enough room for even more than the two grill plates I originally bought it for.

Used this BBQ for a full seasons. It's great!
I shopped around a lot, trying to find a grill that would fit our kitchen patio in an apartment complex didn't allow large tank BBQ's. This one had the largest grilling surface for the money. Lots to like about it:First, design of the cooking area. Center part of the heavy cast iron grill is a rippled solid surface great for cooking wet items like onions, peppers or chopped potatoes. This is surrounded by an open grid which will leave the normal BBQ burn marks.Second: This grill has three burners and once I got used to the three adjustments, it offered the most controlled temperatures of any grill that I have owned in the past 30 years. An accurate temperature gauge sits in the middle of the cover. If it is just my wife and I just use one half of the grill which is plenty big enough by itself for two large salmon fillets (for instance) plus sides. I have cooked for six on this grill. The grill heats up very quickly.Third: Cleaning. I don't understand the complaints about cleaning this grill. The grill surface consists of two halves. When the grill cools down I just remove what I cooked on if it got messy and wash it in the sink. There is a one piece grease trap which catches EVERYTHING. If you were cooking fatty food or used lots of sauced, you can just take a few paper towels while it is still warm and easily reach around and wipe the remains into one end and toss them out. I have only removed that grease trap twice to wash and it is really a snap to do it.Fourth: I think it is very well made. The two side panels that slide out do take a little work but they are nice and stiff for putting your empty plates on or your BBQ sauce. Zero problems with the handles. You can get this up to 500 F though I am not sure why you would want to!The negatives? I am not sure there are any. This baby is a great cooking tool. I think this would work well for BBQ tailgates of camping if you have a big trunk. I don't know how it would hold up being lugged from place to place, opened and closed many times. As I said we keep it in one spot outside off our kitchen. We have also bought a cover for it for $25 and will leave it out all winter.A small green cannister of gas lasts for about four or five BBQ's so that is a disadvantage over the big tanks. However, we knew that going in.Hope all or some of that helps!

Almost oerfect
Doesn’t easily hold the grill pieces, griddle, and burner, so maybe store the grill grates in the grill, love the front pocket—holds my propane adapter hose, small set of bbq tools, bottle of oil, and a few spices. Easy transport—seems well made

A great case that should give you years of care-free use!
I have the Coleman road trip 285 grill and at the same time I bought the grill I bought the 1/2 plate, Porcelain coated cast-iron griddle plate as well as the pot grate but needed a travel case to keep them safe, then I spotted this case and it holds them perfectly! There is even a flap to separate the two items to help prevent chips and scratches. Heavy duty fabric and twin zippers. It also has 2 heavy duty carry straps. There is a large pocket in the front with a large Velcro closure flap. The pocket is engineered in such a way to stay flat when not in use but is pleated to pull out to hold larger items. I haven’t tried to hold gas bottles in it yet but I bet this would be possible! It can easily hold your instruction booklet as well as an accessory hose in case you want to switch to a 20 lb bottle or connect to your camper. While this is a great item and should provide me many years of care-free usage I do have a few minor cons:I wish they added a longer, heavy duty adjustable shoulder strap on d rings and instead of the handle straps they have now, make them shorter with padded hand grip so the user can decide to sling it over their shoulder on carry it like a bag.One other thing I would’ve tried to engineer into this case is dedicated bottle holders, on on each side with either heavy duty rubber band type closures or draw string closures to keep the bottles from coming out accidentally. With these modifications I would’ve happily paid a few dollars more but as the bag stands now I think it’s a nice item and well worth the investment to help keep your accessories safe and sound.
