This is perfect for using with my daughter who has Down Syndrome. She is safely locked in her seat and has a harder time terrorizing her brother in the other side of the seat. (Lol). I feel more at ease cuz she doesn’t just get out of her seat and bounce around the back seat while I’m driving down the road. She no longer peeks over my shoulder and stick her head out my window as I am ordering then paying at the drive thru. (Yikes!). I make her look away so she can’t see how I “unlock” it. She is not as happy riding in the car but at least she is safe.Just an FYI, I have a 2016 Honda CR-V. It does not exactly line up and install easily. I didn’t really want to send it back cuz it is clearly well made and so I put it on the “male” end and then clip it and I am able to wiggle it around until it clicks.I would have given it 5 stars if it fit better. It still works.

Very helpful of keeping my son seat belt on

If you have a kid who gets out of their seat belt, you need this. It’s easy to snap in place and even easier to remove. All you need is a key to stick into the hole.

I bought this because I have a 7 year old who independently buckles herself into the car and she sits right next to a car seat that is secured using the cars belt buckle system. I was concerned that my daughter might unknowingly unbuckle the seatbelt that secures the car seat when trying to unbuckle herself. I realize the ultimate solution is to check to make sure the car seat is secured by the car seatbelt buckle every time I put my child into the 5-point harness car seat. Unfortunately, if I'm capable of accidentally driving down the road before realizing I forgot to buckle my baby (true story at least once), I don't trust myself to remember to check the car seat every time. So, I wondered if there was a way to protect me from this situation. Of course, yes, a product exists! I installed the car seat with this in place. It works exactly as expected and we've had no unbuckling incidents. The only downside is you need a key or something small/flat to insert into the lock when you want to release the car seatbelt (I don't believe it came with such a tool). In the event of an emergency, I think I would be nervous to have one of these installed on a child who uses the car seatbelt directly. But I understand sometimes it's necessary for those who have a child that will not keep the seatbelt fastened otherwise. Overall, I would recommend this product! I am happy for this invention and the added protection it provides my family.

The media could not be loaded. It fits over the buckle, but it prevents the latch from locking on the 2024 Hyundai Palisade. It works fine on the 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I need one for the Palisade so I'll return this. See video

This product may work if your seat belt is very simple and skinny, however I was unable to fasten the seatbelt with this attachment on in our 2022 Honda Odyssey so I would beware when your buying that it definitely does not work in all cars!
