I took off one star because they are not good for hard soil. In loose soil like in containers they work great. They do take a little getting use to. But once you do you will love they. I'm able to push my hand deeper into the soil when planting and mixing fertilizer into the soil.

These gloves are great and really save fingernails. I also bought a pair for my granddaughter and a pair for a friend. They hold up really well and work great.
