So far, this thing is awesome
I have had acne for years, and have tried everything. This product is likely going to top my list of acne treatments - so far, it has been very effective. The Zeno devices are also effective, WHEN THEY WORK. Since this device doesn't require the tips to be replaced, the cost savings are already going to be substantial, and since I went through no less than THREE Zeno devices in about four years, with many replacement tips, I have said ADIOS to Zeno forever. Throw in that I have tried to reach Zeno customer service on three occasions, and had zero success, I refuse to patronize a company that offers lame products and even worse customer service. Another key difference is that this takes only one battery, and it seems to last for a pretty long time. The only negative I can write about it that this device beeps every few seconds, and can get annoying, but that is my one and only complaint thus far. The magic wand is effective, unique, and will offer a substantial cost savings over the very lame Zeno.

Sadly, didn't work
I am very disappointed with this product. I used to use Zeno (with great results), but it got too expensive to keep purchasing the new heads. When I saw that the Klima wand combined heat with blue light therapy, I was intrigued. And the online reviews were pretty good across the board. However, when I received my first Klima wand, it looked different from the picture. It has only one white plastic button that you're supposed to hold on for 3 seconds. I put brand new batteries in it and it turned on and then immediately went off. I tried several times with no luck. It just wouldn't stay on. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. This time it stayed on. After it's on, you're supposed to press the button once more for the blue light and heat therapy. there is no beep or light change to indicate that it's working. I did as directed and waited. It seemed to heat up slightly (warm to touch) but, not hot. And the blue light never came on. From the video reviews of the product I've seen, you should clearly see the light. Essentially, I found it to be flimsy and cheap. And ultimately defective. I'm sending both of the wands back for a refund. I must say that the customer service person I dealt with was very friendly and prompt when she shipped my replacement wand. But I won't be ordering from them again. Also, I stumbled upon this wand which looks to be the same for half the cost. I'm going to try it and will post my review soon. BrightTherapy BT-SR09A Pimple Remover. Uses Heat & Blue LED Light Therapy to stop Pimples in their tracks! ACNE Buster!

magic wand review
It seemed to work on some, but not all pimples. Then about 2 weeks after I got it I couldn't get the lights to come on correctly or at all. I probably would have kept it if it had still functioned since I felt it worked on some pimples, but not if it's going to stop working.

I bought this in 2012 and it did a good job. I would use it as soon as I felt a pimple erupting. The trick is to use it multiple times, although you have to wait a while so you don't drain the battery too quickly. I would wait 10 min. and used it a second and third time. Then do it again later in the day. It finally went kaplooie in 2016.

Disappointed
I've used Zeno and No!No!, and now this. Zeno is expensive to use long-term (limited zaps) and doesn't incorporate light. I loved my No!No!, which has heat and light, until it stopped working and the lid fell apart. The No!No! is expensive and should have lasted longer. I replaced it with the Magic Acne Wand. I'm really disappointed because the wand doesn't really heat up. It came in a box with a printed piece of paper and not a traditional product manual. The device felt cheap, and the packaging was cheap. I was hoping it would work as well as the No!No! because, as a battery operated unit, it would be easier and cheaper to use than the No!No! and the Zeno. It barely heats, and the instructions say that you have to hold it in place for a few minutes. In contrast, zaps with the No!No! are only 10 seconds each. Sadly, I'm returning the wand. Was really hoping it would work.UPDATE: I sought to return the device but didn't get any communication back from the seller on how to return the unit. With no response, I decided to give it one more try, and even with two different sets of new batteries, the device doesn't work at all. It's completely dead. What a complete waste of money! I will not buy from this seller again, and will not try this device again either.

Garbage
This did absolutely nothing for me. I've tried both the Zeno and the ANSR beam, and I saw limited results with them, but this is basically a $100 LED with a cap. The heat doesn't seem focused enough to be therapeutic, and the LED itself is so narrow when pressed against the skin that it can't be doing much. From some of the other reviews it seems like the company may have changed the way they make the device in the last year or so. So maybe there was an older design that was effective but the version they're selling now is worthless. Wish I would've thought about trying to return it before I threw it away.

Worth it works!
The thing works! Have had cystic acne for decades. It will make it so it never comes out: small bump, then dissolves. I'd have less scarring if I had this years ago!
