Culina 5 Qt. Tri-Ply Steamer Cooker 3-Piece Set, 18/10 Stainless Steel

We had a pot that was the same size and offered the steaming basket, unfortunately, it was 25+ years old and had an non-stick coating (okay, let's not dwell on the last part, we knew it was bad, but we had been looking for a replacement for over 10 years and hadn't found one). Then we found the Culina Steamer Cookware with Steamer Insert and we KNEW that was the one! We finally got it and haven't stopped using it since! It's perfect for steaming veggies, split artichokes, four pieces, fit beautifully in the steamer basket just like the old one! When not using as a steamer, it makes a perfect pot for soups, stews, pasta and, and, and! It's easy to clean and looks a beautiful as it did when it arrived. We highly recommend the Culina Steamer Cookware with Steamer Insert. It's the perfect size and handles anything you ask it to do. Plus, it isn't non-stick & will last you a lifetime! Boy, do I love this steamer!!!! I had been using a regular pot with one of those inexpensive inserts. After having a slight mishap where the whole insert did a China Syndrome meltdown, I was in the market for something that would really meet my needs. As a vegetarian, I do a LOT of steamed veggies. This one is wonderful. It is large enough to handle a big batch of beans or cauliflower and yet, I can also steam my smaller lots with no trouble. I was sure glad I was a member of prime because I was lost without a steamer and with Prime shipping, I got it in several days. All in all, a great experience and a wonderful purchase.

Awesome high capacity steamer or use it for soup. I wanted a larger size steamer and this one fit the bill. It si stylish and sizeable to fit all that I need to put inside. I'm just thrilled with the quality and overall appearance. If you need a larger steamer ~ I recommend this one for sure!

Sturdy, it is 18/10. Washes nicely. I do drain it then dry to put away anyway. Don't use steamer basket but can be used for various things as rinsing fruits and vegetables etc. After using several times, the scratches I put in by stirring pasta with fork, however, it seems to have a few pitt markings inside after the 3rd use I don't know how. I was going to order another for engagement present, but feel if it happens to couple they might think it was cheap. It does the job any way. I use the scrub daddy sponge that does not scratch.

To begin with, when we purchased this item, we saw several people leaving reviews who had been given this item. We were not given any product. We purchased this at full price. We were very hesitant about purchasing it, but felt it was worth the risk, since we could not find anything else like it on Amazon, and were in need of a steamer with an insert. We have not been disappointed!!! It is as shiny today as it was the day we got it. The numbers on the inside are also staying on, with no fading. We have also used the base pot for boiling a variety of items. We really don't have anything bad to say about it.

At 5 quarts, this streamer can easily steam 2# of vegetables at one time. With the brand name of Culina, I was disappointed to discover this steamer is made in China. The bottom and steamer insert are well designed and impressive in appearance with sturdy handles. The top cover is a safety hazard. The top cover handle is to small and to close to the top for a person to get a good sturdy grip on the handle for removing the 10-inch diameter stainless steel top. During the seaming of vegetables, steam escapes horizontally around the top cover perimeter.The bottom of the Steamer Cookware is an excellent soup kettle.

This is a great steamer. High quality thick stainless steel, sturdy handles, and smooth finish make this a breeze to use and to clean. You can also just use the steamer bottom part as a large pan for a multitude of uses. Great product!

Looks good, but beware of the quality! I boiled water, 6 times. Each time there is a chalky white residue inside. So I did a "test" & boiled water in my old Stainless Steel pan of another brand & it had no film. I think this pan is LEACHING METAL! I am returning it!

Excelente batería para cocinar al vapor. A un año de su compra y está como el primer día. Acero de primera calidad. Bastante espaciosa, puedes cocer una coliflor de una vez o un kilo de patatas. Las asas no se calientan -nuestra cocina es de inducción- además tienen un diseño retro muy bonito. Una joya. Muy contentos y satisfecho por la compra. Absolutamente recomendable para cocinar sano.

Mit diesem Dämpfer Kochtopf von Culina haben wir sehr viel Freude. Mit diesem Gerät kann man u.a. Knödel machen die Spitze gelingen und nicht zerfallen. Auch Gemüse lässt sich hervorragend garen. Können diesen Kopftopf nur jedem empfehlen der gerne kocht.Dieser Dampfgarer hat weiters ein sehr gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Sollte in keiner Küche fehlen.
