White Green Amber Duck Bill Glass Bankers Lamp Shade Standard Replacement Lampshade (White)

The lamp works great now, but I had to search everywhere to find someone to completely rewire it, in order to replace the shade. This is bc the lamp design entails dis-assembling the entire electrical socket before you can replace the shade. Sadly, unless you know how to rewire a lamp, and you have lots of spare parts lying around, it's probably cheaper to throw away your broken lamp and buy a new one. I went to several Hardware stores, before I found someone willing to do the work., which took well over 30 minutes of his time! The wiring was too short, and the sprocket needed replacement as well. The cost of the repair, plus the purchase price of the shade is probably more than the cost of a new lamp! I DO feel good that I didn't add to Landfill, but what a PAIN!

Nice replacement for broken shade. Kept my lamp from going into landfill. Original was green and this amber lens is much better looking with warmer hue.
