Previously and for years I had been drinking a black current tea that was mixed with several other berries: a good tea but leaves a slightly sharp aftertaste. Tastes artificial, reminiscent of children's cough syrup.

for some reason this tea has a slightly fermented flavor. I don't really like that aspect of the tea.

Got two jars for Christmas. They sent jars with these dates on bottom: P 08/30/2013 and E 08/30/2015. Received these in Amazon order placed early Dec 2014).There is a fermented (fetid) odor to the tea. I was able to compare it to another, older batch of Argo Black Currant tea I have and the difference is night and day. The older tea smells like berries; the new stuff smells more like a cat box than a beverage. And the taste of this batch is extremely bland, where my old batch tasted wonderful (and it's seven years old).Argo Tea should be ashamed to sell this.
