Carnation Home Fashions "Chris Kringle Holiday Placemat, Set of 4

These were a gift for my niece and her family. I bought two sets since each set contains 4 and I needed 5 to accommodate the family. She says they're nice, easy to wipe off, and don't slip on the table. Since she has three children under the age of 8, I know she's had to wipe them often. I loved the stylized Santa pictured on them.

Although these look nice, they have a strong chemical smell to them, and there is a warning on the back that they may be made with a chemical that may cause cancer. I don't want to have kids eat off them.

The placemats have been on the table overnight and this morning we see that one of them is peeling up, the lament on it is coming away, so annoying....

Large, colorful placemats. They are sturdy and will hold up forl many Christmases.,

Used for second year. Good quality and cheerful.
