It really is a beautiful duvet cover, but the material is very scratchy. It may have softened up after a few washes, but for the price we did not want to risk it and decided to return it

This is meant to be a duvet cover but I use it as a bedspread. It’s one of my most favorite decorating purchases ever. I did cut off the tassels at the bottom. I have a footboard and they just didn’t work. The color is exactly as pictured, a soft creamy beige, not too vanilla-y. The texture is subtly unusual, not perfectly uniform throughout the design. That gives it an interesting, sophisticated and a bit of an artistic look. It’s quite lightweight. I have it placed over a down comforter for winter. I’ll use it over a sheet in summer. It adds a peaceful quality, pretty and lovely but not too girly. Even my husband said, “That looks nice.” A big compliment from him!
