Tranz XTri Bar (Black)

I'm a long-time cyclist and I've never used tri-bars. I wanted them mostly for comfort to get into a different position on long rides. I rode 50 miles this weekend and used them and ....I really like them. Take a lot of stress off of your arms and shoulders when you use them. These are aluminum which I like (I assume they are harder to break than carbon) yet still very light. They are well-made and well machined. No sharp edges. There are many ways to adjust them, back and forth, angled slightly in or out and the pads can be moved a bit as well - you can get everything just where you want it. They tighten up well and did not slip on me during the ride. I think I will put some locktite on all the screws now that I know I like them and want to keep them on the bike. The pads are thick and very comfortable and the bars are prime so they showed up in two days. I'm going to buy another set, just in case they disappear off Amazon. The only negative thing I could say would be the bars are angled at the top and could be too short for some. They are just the right size for me. I'm 5'10, and I do have longer arms for my height but not extremely long arms. If you have super long arms your hands are going to go past the end of the bars. But for me they are perfect and I couldn't be happier. Doing a century ride this weekend and I know they are going to save my back, arms and shoulders a lot of discomfort. Highly recommended.

Easy to put on, lightweight, enough cushioning for the arms. First triathlon bar I’ve ever gotten so nothing to compare it to, but it works great for me as an introductory set.

These aero bars are extremely lightweight and super easy to install. I ride 3.5 miles to work each way with a few inclines and these bars have held up nicely. Roads here in Hawaii are horrible so I tighten the bars down every 2 or 3 days. Great product, don't be afraid to purchase.

I am very glad I chose to try these on my new bike, instead of buying another set I used previously. My old set were comfortable but lacked in a tight fit on my bars. No matter how tight I wrenched the bolts, they would shift around when I hit bumps. These on the other hand are very sturdy and have no movement! They fit directly on my Fuji Sportif 2.3 bars with no modifications. One area that took some getting used to were the arm rests on these. My old pair had flatter arm rests, where these are more 'cupped'. The cupped shape requires you to place your arms at a certain angle to get a comfortable resting position. I prefer the flat shape but not a major issue.

No problems at all when using. They stay tight to my bars. I assume there are more comfy options out there for the pads but they are good enough for my use and my first time trying any. The only problem I had with these is that it was a little difficult to line the bolts up straight when attaching to the handlebars and you can easily screw them in crooked and ruin the thread. Be very careful to make sure they are straight and don't force them, there's nothing on this product stopping you from messing that up. Otherwise, great value for the cost.

I put these aero bars on my daughter’s bike who has just started competing in triathlons. They are very comfortable and are a perfect fit for her.

4 stars for now. Haven’t tested it out yet. Installations was a breeze.

It took a long time for it to get to me since it came from Hong Kong. But everything was as noted in the website description. Quality product. It clamped into my handlebar with no slippage.
