This thing is AWESOME for removing nails and salvaging wood. Works better than I expected. Definitely recommend.

Arrived today, knocked out the nails from three disassembled pallets in about half an hour. That includes setting up the tool for the first time. Read the instructions, lubricate as it says.Tip, put the boards over a bucket as you knock out the nails. Put something in the bucket, I used rags, to stop the nails from bouncing back. For my use, 2/3 of the nails knocked completely out and didn't need any pulling. The rest pulled easily as they were mostly out.

The media could not be loaded. I am redoing yet another floor in my house. Prior to sanding a floor you need to recess the nails so that you don’t tear up the drum sander rental or you WILL be paying around $800 to the Big Orange depot. I decided to try this tool versus a hand punch and hammer. I have severe carpel tunnel with 50% loss of hand strength in my right hand (dominant hand). So, this tool is a hand saver!Seriously, don’t hesitate to buy it. You could use it to do other things your imagination comes up with. Though, DON’T attempt to test it on yourself! My inner voice kept saying to try it on myself 😂Hey, who didn’t put their finger in a stapler or a car lighter as a kid??? Right! No, I didn’t try it on myself but, it was tempting. It looks like it it’s not coming out all that fast but, it is and very hard. Guarantee it will put a hole in your body.

This thing does a good job, however, it is kinda hit or miss on driving nails all the way out. In oak it will only drive them 3/4 of the way out. This is ok as it makes it easier to pull them the rest of the way. In pine it will drive them totally out. I've been using it at 120 psi down to 100 psi then my air compressor come on.

Works well. Excellent for knocking out the shiners my framers left behind. Also great for cleaning up all of the potential waste lumber that as used for braces. As an owner/GC it killed me to see piles of useable lumber left laying full of nails. This thing did the trick. One of those tools I didn’t know I needed.

Never knew this type of air tool existed but man, I'm glad it does. The tool's quality feels much higher than its price. I was able to knock a lot of glue coated ring shank nails out of one by pallet wood pretty quickly. I used the tool at about 110 psi and a few nails didn't get fully ejected but they were easy to pull out the rest of the way by hand. I haven't tried any two by material yet so can't speak to its effectiveness on driving nails though heavier wood. Another thing, not only can you save wood, but you can also save and reuse the straighter nails if you want. Wish I had bought one long ago.
