Packaging good. The product met my expectations and in some cases beyond my expectations.It's a shame AMAZON doesn't pay any taxes in this country thereby contributing to this countrys' growth which in turn helps the low paid and needy people. SHAME ON YOU!

Bought this as a sucker for animals. A lovely calendar, will enjoy smiling at the pictures. A fairly good size with gridlines on the dates. Good value for money too.

Nice calendar although only 3 stars as the style of hanging means it can easily tear, it's a shame calendar producers don't reinforce the holes for hanging!

I wanted this calendar for a friend and I thought it would be the one she would appreciate. i woud have also liked it for my self but I was given other ones. Mossy

An excellent product, would make a great present for any animal lovers, pictures of animals coupled together who you would not expect to be friends.

Über diesen wunderschönen und - für mich - tiefbewegenden Kalender kann man nicht viel schreiben. Kaum denkbar, dass jemand nicht von den Bildern "unglaublichster Freundschaften" zwischen Geschöpfen berührt ist. Die Qualität der Fotos ist außergewöhnlich, das Kalender hat das übliche Format und ... ich habe das Gefühl, er verbreitet in meinem Büro eine liebevolle Atmosphäre ,o)).

Es steht mehr drin als man denkt. Wunderbare Geschichten und eindrucksvolle Beleg-Bilder der Tiere der verschiedensten Arten - erstaunlich und schön anzusehen!

Ich habe den Kalendar bei mir auf Arbeit an der wand hängen und alle bleiben stehen und blätern weiter. Die Bilde sind echt top!

"Unlikely Friendships..." is a truly wonderful calendar...I got the 2012 calendar and I am completely delighted with it.. the images are clear and beautiful ... [I read another review that had me concerned, I worried that I was in for a disappointment, a calendar of blurry badly reproduced photos blown-up beyond their limit. I don't know how that person had such a bad experience, maybe it's an eyesight issue, because it in no way resembles what I've encountered.]The cover is a thick sturdy grade of high-gloss paper, the pages are flawlessly printed, quality-wise, everything it should be.The calendar I received is as beautiful as the pictures online and the affiliation with National Geographic would suggest.The photos are very large, beyond the fold... and even as large as the photos are, there is still room for a paragraph about each pair of "unlikely friends" AND a spacious calendar with plenty of space for writing on each day. Furthermore, both the stories and photos are touching and inspiring, as expected. (It even arrived well-packaged and ahead of schedule.)It's utterly, unreservedly GORGEOUS. And I'm perfectly pleased with it now, and each day...and I'm sure each and every month.

I love this calendar! It is an inspiration to see members of the animal kingdom coexisting peacefully and, in fact, truly enjoying their amazing friendships with other species. Makes me feel humans could do the same if we tried harder. Each new month has its own inspirational story and photo. There is a companion book with the same title detailing additional unlikely animal friendships which I love to keep on hand and give as gifts to someone, say, in the hospital or a shut-in who loves animals.

It is so much fun to turn the page of the month to encounter another sweet, funny photo of an unusual pairing. The graphics are sharp, and colors vivid....a calendar to entertain as the year goes by.

This calendar is adorable. I have it in my office and other people enjoy it and find it relaxing. I have the book it comes from and really enjoy and recommend it as well.

I get my mom a calendar every year. This year was tough because the calendar was competing with last year's "Goats in Trees". This one is possibly even better!

My ten year old daughter loved this calendar for Christmas. She had it hung up within minutes of getting it.
