Complete Kit
Our Samsung dryer (Model DV52J8060EW/A2) started making loud clunking sounds. Repairs I’ve done on other units were usually the idler wheel. But after reviewing the parts diagrams, I saw this dryer has drum support wheels. I don’t recall my older dryers having these, they used glide bearings. So other moving parts could also be the cause. I liked this kit because it had all those parts included, and it was a reasonable price. The repair went relatively well. After removing the front bulkhead I found the problem. One drum support wheel had come off its axle shaft. So good thing I got this complete kit. Since I had all the parts, I replaced all four drum support wheels, idler wheel and drive belt. I did not use the spring that came with this kit. The provided spring does not exactly match the original. The loop at one end of the original spring coil is bent outward (see photo - original on bottom). This may be so the spring doesn’t rub against the idler frame. Maybe that’s important, maybe not. Anyway, if it still has good tension you may want to reuse the original idler spring.Getting the drive belt back on was nearly impossible from the front due to limited clearance. A trick I got off a YouTube video (for my model, anyway) was to remove the rear exhaust duct mounting panel. This gives good access to reach in from the back to put the drive belt back on. MUCH easier, just make sure the exhaust tube seats properly into the exhaust housing when you put it back together. This kit solved the current problem and hopefully postponed future failures (belt, idler, etc). For me, it was a good deal. I recommend.

It worked!
The entire kit was installed. The grinding metal and screeching sound we had went away and the dryer is back to a normal working order.

Samsung Model DV400EWHWR/AA - Did I need to do this?
Dryer is 11 years old. We use it a lot. The heating element died so I figured I'd replace the rollers, belt and tensioner. I replaced the whole roller and bolt, replaced old tension pulley and spring. The dryer is still noisy, sounds like rollers and pulley is loud. No big deal. After inspecting the old rollers I noticed the bolt had worn spots where the roller makes the most contact (on top of the bolt). Cleaned them up, they work fine, spin free, rubber looks good. I could have turned the old bolts 45-180 degrees, cleaned them, lubed them up, and continued to use the old rollers. Keeping the old set just in case.

Amazing!
I was skeptical about trying to fix our dryer ourselves. The noise it was making was horrendous. After watching several YouTube videos, we decided to give it a try. It turned out that 2 of the rollers needed to be replaced. 1 of them had broken and was completely off. After replacing these our dryer is like it was when it was new. This repair kit can save you a lot of money!

Saved me a bunch of money, and my wife fussing at me
Our dryer is 10 years old, and one day began making a high pitched squealing noise. After a couple of days of my wife fussing at me to call an appliance shop to get it fixed...me, you tube and this product were able to get it fixed. Not going to lie, even after watching multiple you tube videos I was extremely nervous to take it apart because I knew I would never hear the end of it if I messed up the dryer trying to save some money.I waited until my wife left to go shopping and seized the moment knowing that I would be alone for a couple of hours. I had my son help me move the dryer into the garage where him and I started to take it apart. We got most of the covers off, and the conscious on my left shoulder started to tell me that I was going to be sleeping on the couch tonight! As more and more parts started to come off the machine, it began to look like I had should've called an appliance repair shop. I even began to put the machine back together again, and that's when it happened. The right shoulder chimed in sounding like Tim Allen and said " your the man of this house, Just do it. Once the drum was out exposing all the wheels, it was obvious what the problem was. On of the wheels had cracked at the bearing causing the hole assembly to lock up. The sound we were hearing was was the dryer drum grinding metal to metal on what was left of the bearing.Swapping out the old parts for these high quality parts was a breeze. Since I had the machine completely apart I decided I should change the belt with the one that was included. Reassembling the machine was easier with my right shoulder conscious telling me the whole time that " your wife is going to be so impressed " ...tonight is going to be a good night. With the machine completely back together it was now time for the moment that would decide my fate for a good nights sleep in my bed or the " I told you to call a professional ". My son and I carried the machine back into the house, hooked up electricity and fired it up. Other than the sound of the motor running, the drum spun as quiet as it ever has. I gave my son a high five and sat on the couch anxiously waiting on my wife to arrive so that I could be her hero. When she walked in the door, I let her settle in and change before I would show her my conquest for the day. As she walked out of the bedroom, I called her into the laundry room and fired up the dryer.....and once again.... it was quiet. She gazed at the machine, and I just waited to hear those magical words....." You're my Hero, great job honey "! She turned and looked at me and said good job and quickly scurried out of the laundry room to her bags of purchases from the store in which she was so eager to share with me. It seems as if my heroic accomplishments of the day were trumped by the sales at target, and how much money she saved me. Regardless of not getting the reaction I was expecting, the parts were a direct replacement and of high quality.
