I bought this DVD along with a multi-regional DVD player for a Christmas gift to a family member, and it's provided (literally) hours of side-splitting laughter as a result. It's probably a bit too crass for the majority of American audiences, however if you appreciate a no-holds barred comedy with a lot of jokes, this is for you. The best part is that it's filmed before a live studio audience; therefore any bust-ups or blunders or ad-libs are included right into the show. Highly recommended if you crave an evening of watching TV and getting slap happy in the process.I ordered the DVD about 2 weeks before Christmas, realizing it might not arrive in time but it did. All the DVD's work perfectly, everything is included as stated (behind the scenes extras, etc). We love Mrs. Brown!

I bought a region two DVD player just for this series before I realized my computer would play them. Like most people in the states I discovered the show from a YouTube clip, and I had to see more. The series is well written and well performed. It was so hilarious that after I finished the first series I immediately came back to buy the second series and now the third. This is a naughtifully delightful series that I cannot get enough of. It's rather disappointing to see that some buyers have given this series a 'one star' review just because of the format issue. The region of the DVD and inability for region one players to read them is completely irrelevant to the quality of the program. This series is well worth the buy, highly entertaining!

I was warned by the advertising that it would not work on our DVD players here in the states ! However i tookthe chance, I had previously ordered Mrs Browns Boys box set and it worked just fine, however it was not exactly the one I wanted but I loved it ! so I took the chance, so i really cannot complain, if there is a way to get a copy of this particular DVD for the states I am interested !!!!!!

They are right.. you have to buy a special DVD Player to play these. We found one for $50 on Amazon that is a non-region player. IT was the the best money spent!! These are so funny!! The 3 DVD's appear to have 6 episodes per series or DVD... We haven't watched the 3rd Series yet so not sure but assume it has the 6. We get to laughing so hard at times we have to pause the movie so we don't miss anything.. The First Series has some extras on the 2nd DVD in the set.. one is an interview with the writer/actors! Thats great to see too! GREAT FUN!!!!

Although Mrs. Brown's Boys is full of off-color words, sexual innuendo, and profanity, there is no nudity. Seriously, this is the funniest comedy series I have ever seen. If you need a good laugh and don't have children around while you watch this, Mrs. Brown will have you rolling on the floor with her gut splitting antics.The DVDs are in PAL format, so you will have to have them translated to NTSC format to watch them, or you will need to buy a multi-region player. If you like the other British comedies seen on PBS, you will adore Agnes Brown and you will find yourself saying, "That's nice!"

OMG, if you've never caught a scene (not even one) from any of these episodes on you tube.....you haven't laughed! This show is the funniest ever! Don't let the 'non-usa format dvd' scare you off. I was able to play it on my laptop without a problem. I did buy me a "all region" dvd player and I have no problem with it at all. But sometimes, if I need a laugh at work....I'll take my laptop to work so I can watch an episode during my lunch break. I tell ya, if this comedy show isn't a 'pick me upper'! Best comedy show out there!

My merchandise was delivered on the Friday of a holiday weekend ahead of its anticipated Monday arrival. I was over joyed. The listing and DVDs are clearly marked that they are for a Region 2 player. However they worked in my computer just fine and we found a code for our DVD player to switch it to multi region. The product is the entire series with Christmas episodes. Also it offers SUBTITLE on screen options for those hard of hearing. This was a great buying experience.
