33" 1065 Steel Functional Handmade Practical Ninjato Ninja Sword by Master Park

I have many training swords from Chinese and Japanese arts; they are not sharp, but could be sharpened and will cut into other training swords even dull as they are. I also have a fully functional Cold Steel Chisa sword which is easily the strongest sharpened sword I've ever used. This Practical Ninjato by Master Park is right up there with the Chisa. They can both chop firewood. They can both have their point embedded in the ground and bent from side to side with no blade deformation. And they both are of excellent quality. The hand guard is slightly more loose on the Practical Ninjato (but not much at all!) and the blade is less massive (literally..it feels much lighter) than the Chisa (not necessarily a drawback), but I would absolutely use Master Park's sword to fight for my life; it might even be the better choice because it feels light and fast in the hands, but certainly strong enough to block another blade. The price for the Practical Ninjato vs Chisa is very different and that is a huge plus for Master Park's sword given that it has a quality equaling a Cold Steel blade. I would definitely recommend this to anyone serious about martial arts and will absolutely purchase again if possible. An excellent sword!!

I recently purchased a Shinwa Ninja sword and thought it was nice. The only complaint I had was the 28" blade. To me, a Ninjato should be shorter. So after reading reviews online, I ordered this.Munetoshi has an excellent reputation and now I see why. The 33" 1065 Steel Functional Handmade Practical Ninjato Ninja Sword by Master Park is a work of art. Beautiful in every way, sharp and perfectly balanced. Sword fits nice and snug in the saya. The ito is tight and doesn't move around like on my Shinwa. After holding this and then picking up my Shinwa, the Shinwa feels clumsy and way too heavy. This is a sword that I would trust to defend myself or perform tameshigiri.If you are looking for a Ninjato then look no further. This is the one you want!

Awesome sword-I have been practicing Ninjutsu for 31 years & have never had a sword this good-perfectly balanced for me & I would pit this against any sword out there. It is razor sharp & is keeping its edge just fine & I have already put it to the test early against a friends 9260 spring steel sword-he is impressed with the performance & how tough the blade is. I highly recommend this to any ninja or person practicing kenjutsu.
