So far a good replacement...No problem with fitting the socket on the laptop.Charging battery.I would give 5 stars, but the cabling isn't as heavy as original and there is no ground.I sure it is internally double-insulated (though I haven't checked) or it would have a ground prong.

Someone had told me about amazon.com so I need a power supply charger for my acer laptop, this would be my second charger for my laptop. I decided to try amazon.com, I wasn't to sure about ordering aanything especiially at such a low price. I looked up electronics for an acer power supply charger and found one and it was at a very low cost, I had purchased one at a retail store that cost me around $80.00 and that one stopped working so when I seen the cost for an a/c power supply charger I deciced to purchase the one I found at amazon.com my total cost was under $10.00. I'm glad that I purchased my a/c power supply charger for my laptop. Thank you amazon.con. From Robin

the only complaint i have if one is this ac adapter is not right angled like the original.. but works very well .....the straight on plug gets pulled out on computer a little easier ....but i would buy again no questions ... Don

I bought this product, to replace my broken charger. When I recieve the product it did not work. I immediatly contacted the seller and I recieved a quick response and apology. I had to send in a couple pictures but was quickly sent a new charger. They were very courteous and fast in responses. The charger I recieved does work and I am very happy especially happy with the price! you can't beat it! I would reccomend this seller and product.

The cord is a little short (way shorter than the OEM cord), maybe 4 foot long total. Not a big deal, just have to be closer to the power outlet. The receptacle end is a little too small where it goes into the laptop, so it fits a little loose. has not fallen out yet, but you would not want to move the laptop around much with the cord inserted. For the price, it works, it powers up our laptop. Personally, I wish I would have spent more and bought an OEM cord.

The plug on my original power supply shorted out. I looked around and all the stores wanted way too much for a replacement. After searching the OEM #'s I found this one and ordered it. It cost about 1/10 what most other ones were running. I figured I couldn't go wrong for the great price so I ordered it. It arrived quickly and has worked great ever since.

Perfect for charging my 12 volt 7.2 AH gelcell and drive most low current 12 volt devices. I love it!
