Not unlimited as advertised!!
If you want UNLIMITED 4G data as advertised, do not purchase this sim card. Data was limited at 8 GB and it was no use after I used it in 3 days. I got text from giffgaff that I need to purchase for more data. I contacted customer service explaining the situation via email and they just emailed me back with "let me check" and no word after and no solution. It was extremely inconvenient time to lose connection and it does not even deserve one star. So if you need good chunk of data and reliable customer service, do not buy this!

Works perfectly!
Purchased for a trip to Barcelona, Spain - I registered the SIM card the day before I flew out and everything worked perfectly. I was abroad for 10 days and never ran out of data. Regular calling got a little complicated so I found it easier to call over What's App or Skype using the data plan

Data works well, local calls don't.
It worked right after I put it in when I arrived in France. Data is fast and reliable. Unfortunately I cannot make local calls. But internet alone is well worth the money.

Worked great. 3G/4G in Iceland, Poland and Italy.
On a trip where we had missing rental cars and canceled flights, we appreciated these European SIM cards that worked perfectly the entire time we were in Europe for 8 days. We always had 3G or 4G connection that helped us navigate our European vacation. We had connecting flights through Iceland and Poland, and even spent some extended time on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland and we had service the entire time. The rest of our trip in Italy had excellent coverage in Rome, Florence, Tuscany and the western coast near Cinque Terre.The instructions were easy to follow and the package came with everything you need to get the SIM card set up. Just make sure to register the SIM card on their web site at least 3 days beforehand and it will be active during your trip in Europe.
