It does the job it’s supposed to.Only problem is the holes are a bit small for the factory screw and require adapting to make it bigger slightly.

I was getting p2015 error so I purchased this bracket installed it in about 5 minutes you do not need to take anything off the engine apart from one bolt as long as you have aluminium manifold no check engine light since install 👍👍

I hope it fits, not sure what the second bolt is for?My VW tiguan 2.0TDi (59 reg) it is not a five minute job there is a lot to take off to then take off the inlet manifold to then be able to install. So I wanted the part here before I start to take it all apart. Do some you tube on the job first Worth cleaning the egr valve while you are about the task, since you have to take it off.

If you have a quattro you have to tap a thread in the other end and use a thick washer aswell as the supplied bracket, other than the slight modification works great. Maybe the manufacturer should tap a thread straight through and add a washer to make this universal.

When screwing flat plate into bracket remember to use thread lock and fix tight, otherwise it may all twist out of position with vibration. If you loosen the manifold bolts enough and just remove one, you might be able to position this without removing the manifold and it's pesky spring at all.

Having had the dreaded P2015 code on my VW Passat 1.9 TDI for almost a year, as well as being told by numerous garages that I need to buy a new intake manifold and flapper motor at approx. £600, I took the plunge on this. Fitted in less than 30mins, I reset the engine warning light and it has now been out for over a week. Far better than the previous 2 starts.In summary, really simple to fit without removing any component, and has rectified a long-standing issue. I would highly recommend trying before throwing hard earned money away.

When I went to fit it, the bracket would not fit and I still have the fault on the car so l basiclly wasted the best part of a Tenner, very disappointed.
