Take Control of Your Life: How to Silence Fear and Win the Mental Game

The audible is amazing. She provides different fear scenarios, and coaches each individual in identifying where these fears are coming from and switch the negatives though that we as individuals have programmed to believe. Less cursing on this one. What works for me are the long drives, so It forces me to stay awake and I can focus on what she is saying . Great message!!!

This was an amazing find for me. My mom told me about this audio book and during an extremely difficult period in my life. I then told my sister and we are all three listening to the book.I recently finished it and I’m working on the workbook to make sure I nail the concepts and actually practice them. This is the first book I finished in like 10 years. I think it’s because the book is engaging with the coaching sessions and then Mel’s breakdown and summary after each session.I found myself in almost every scenario and realized I have a lot of internalized fear from childhood into early adulthood and I’m allowing it to run my life ... I’m ready to take control of the fear and live my life differently!

This audiobook is priceless, worth every penny! I've been consciously growing and focusing on my self-growth for more than a decade, and I still learned a ton about myself from this audiobook. Mel is so easy to connect with and listen to. Her coaching is on point, and I can relate with almost every interview in this book... combining this audiobook with the free workbook is even more powerful. I've learned so much more about myself, and really understood what triggers my fears and why I act the way I do... and most importantly how to change it! Hands down, this is the best growth-helper out there.

This is another amazing book by Mel. I cannot thank Mel enough for all the amazing information she continually shares! I love the fact that all her information is backed up by studies and not just “opinions” for lack of a better word. I found the information to be so spot on and am starting to implement the some of the strategies as we speak. I recommend this book to ANYONE not just people who suffers from anxiety! Thanks again for helping me make myself a better person daily!

I loved the way in which Mel went into specifics and reiterated them more than once.I had the feeling that it was important for her that the reader would get every word, and not just the theory , Mel concretes all her ideas and wisdom with very articulated and specific examples.I really recommend this book to everyone.

Great book but I really dislike the lack of ethics on this author.

Excellent! Mel Robbins has DEFINITELY found her calling in doing this kind of work. I am always blown away by her ability to zoom in on the key issues facing people and speak openly, candidly and with empathy. She is absolutely the real deal. I love her books but her audiobooks are when she is at her very best in my opinion!

I am a big fan of Mel Robbins and like most of her content, however, this audio book was the exception. I should have listened more to the reviews, rather than go off of the fact that I typically like Mel's information. Nearly the entire content is interviews with individuals to go over their issues. The issues aren't that insightful and they are rehashed several times over to boot. If you like hearing people cry and get all emotional about child hood issues then this is for you. I didn't relate well to it at all, but I'm more of a suck it up and move on personality type. Mel is typically more like that so this content kind of surprised me, but it was from years ago too. I am all for being empathetic, but she's not a counselor and I don't want to be a part of others private counseling sessions. That's probably the best way to sum up the entire book, you are a witness to others counseling sessions. No thanks.
