I guess the item works fine but somewhere it should be mentioned that this only gives you voice in/out. IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU GAME SOUND. The product description doesn't say that it *will* give you game sound, so maybe that was just supposed to be common knowledge, but no one I know knew that.

Dnt waste your money. I bought it hoping to use my mic again since my controller doesnt work well for the mic and i tried it on every head phone and controller i owned. It didnt work and it feels like cheap plastic.

This headphone adapter for the xbox 360 works perfectly except for the occasional time where everything just cuts out, or the adapter comes loose, and you have to unplug and plug everything in. It would also be nice if there could be an input into the headset so you could plug in external game audio.

I use my Turtle Beach Ear Force Z11 for PC and Mobile and using this adapter on my Xbox360 work very well the only down side if i mute my mic it makes a buzzing noise that my friends hate so i don't mute my mic

connection wasn't good so the sound would come in and out. had to return.
