Got this to play smash brothers on the switch with my gamecube controllers. It accepted the gamecube controllers that I used on the Wii-U no problem. Worked without a hitch and feels like a great value for the money. the cable was a little shorter than what I would like but still pretty good value for the money.

I got this item for Smash Brothers Ultimate on Switch. Nintendo Switch controllers are extremely expensive. This is an easy way to save some money and connect your old gamecube controllers. If you have been playing the previous iterations of Smash Brothers, then you probably have some gamecube controllers hanging around. Works just like the more expensive version. Two usb connecters, one for rumble, one for the controllers to work. One positive, this adapter is much smaller, so its easier to travel with. One negative, it does not have the home screen button on the adapter like the new ones. So if you need to go to homescreen, you will either need to press it on the Switch itself, or have another Switch controller connected.

Once you figure out which way is up (and subsequently which port is 1), this thing is perfect! If you need Dolphin controller profiles to use actual GC controllers with it, hmu. Those trigger buttons under the analog triggers are kinda tricky sometimes!

Its smaller than the official Nintendo one so you wont be able to have 4 wave birds side by side but not too many people have 4. Fits 4 controllers well though! Works perfectly and very well made '

Bought this to play my old game cube games on my PC with a Gamecube controller. I downloaded the necessary drivers and would not work. Works with my switch though.

Yea, I've spent hours reading online and playing around with this, but I just can't get it to work with my Switch. Really disappointing.

So I just got this Today and just like it states plug and play and it works. Rumble works amazing and connected 4 GCC and all ports work! highly recommend. love that its smaller so i can take it on the go.
