This is all you need to get jump started on a coverstitch machine. Easy to follow, clear instructions, lots of illustrations. After studying this book, I was able to quickly overcome beginner's issues and get really nice results. The author also has a very helpful website with blogs and videos. Great source material.

This book sets the standard for what a sewing book should be. It is clearly written with additional summaries of key points to remember. There are photos illustrating every step. The author has thought through the processes she teaches and makes no assumptions. I could hardly put it down but kept reading it from cover-to-cover like a novel! I feel so confident about cover stitching now and how to use the cover stitching ability of my BabyLock Evolution!

I bought a cover stitch machine about two months ago and decided I needed more guidance than the enclosed manual provided. I pre-ordered this book and I am so glad I did. It's easy to read and easy to follow the instructions. It answered all my questions and provided answers to questions I didn't know I had. Cover stitch books are hard to come by (this is the first and only one I saw listed). I would buy this book again and highly recommend it to anyone who has or is thinking about buying a cover stitch machine.

I read through the book last night, and I can hardly wait to use my coverstitch machine again. This time I feel like I'll get the hang of it faster.

I bought this book in the same order as my first coverstitch machine, and I’m so very glad I did! Full color photographs and well-written text clearly walk you through everything from how the machine works, when you’d want to use a coverstitch, how to start and stop sewing, and - most important - how to easily remove your project from the machine and tie off the threads. If I only had my machine’s manual to rely on, my first project would still be stuck in the coverstitch! The author goes on to demonstrate a variety of uses for the machine beyond hemming. Save yourself a ton of frustration and buy this book - I’m glad I did!

This book is easy to read and will be easy to find the specific area I will need to go to when I'm making an item. Each step is broken down, with pictures, and is very easy to understand. The author, Johanna Lundstrom, has taken her experience and gathered the experience from other experts and put it in this book, saving the reader from having to search for information. I plan to take every area she has explained and practice it on scrap material, so I am more comfortable with what this great machine can do.

I couldn't find anything on the internet to explain to me why my coverstitch tension was going wonky when I tried to use the double-fold binding attachment. This book explains what correct tension looks like, what incorrect tension looks like, and what might be causing each part. Problem solved! I'm looking forward to digging into all of the other tips as well.

This is an excellent guide to using and getting the most out of my new cover stitch machine. It has very clear written explanations and lots of photographs for extra clarification. On the cover it says the book is a complete cover stitch sewing guide and indeed it is. It includes what to consider when buying a machine, tools and setting up, what the seams should look like and how to adjust settings to get perfect results and even has projects to show how to get the maximum benefit from your machine. It is a book I will return to again and again.

C'est le livre que j'aurais apprécié d'acheter quand j'ai acheté ma recouvreuse, je vais progresser à grand pas maintenant sur ma machine. El mejor libro de esta temática, muy bien explicado y con fotos muy buenas. Si estuviera en español ya sería fantástico.

It’s very clear and has a lot of pictures along the explanations but I feel it has the same information as the instructions manual, but nicely explained and a couple interviews.Also for the price (26€) I expected or more content or more quality in the printing.
