Bloem DC16-60 Dura Cotta Planter, 16-Inch, Peppercorn

I grow "potted" tomatoes and wanted new planters for my patio. I ordered two of these pots. Unfortunaltely, the rim of both arrived broken. Now, I have to return them to Amazon, which is a bit of a hassle. Also, these look cheaper than I would want in my garden. I have a few plastic pots amongst the clay ones, but they look better than these. These look cheap and flimsy, and from the damage, they clearly are flimsy.

Decently made, will do the job. Arrived on time and in good condition. My only complaint- when I bought this the 16” pots were $20. I decided that I needed one more and when I went to purchase the price had risen by $15!! to $34.99. That’s quite the hike in a matter of a week! I would not say these pots are worth that price and will be looking elsewhere.

After searching many websites for a bigger crock for all my kitchen utensils, I couldn't find one that was reasonably priced, the right dimensions, and attractive. So I decided to look for a "flower pot". I looked in my local stores, then decided to check Amazon. The size, shape and color of this one were perfect. I was afraid it might not be sturdy enough, but when I received it I found that it was the perfect size, and with the utensils in it, it seems plenty sturdy! What a bargain, compared to the expensive crocks I had seen.

It's good if you have a large plant that likes to stay wet or moist, because it isn't Terra-Cotta, it's "Dura Cotta" which is PLASTIC. And it is lightweight, which you might like, too. In my case, I bought 2, one for a plant that DOES like to stay moist, but one for one that doesn't, which I should have bought a TERRA-COTTA planter for. Also, you should always put clean stones or pebbles into any planter, and use a dish or tray under the center, so I did buy those things, too.

I had an Amazon gift card. I needed a big plastic pot to replant a plant I've had since 2002. So...there you go. It's nothing to write home about. I could have easily sourced this locally, but I'm lazy. Kitty not included!

This worked out perfectly for transplanting my new orange tree. It holds 40 lb of soil and 6 gal. of water.

This is a great product for the price. Although I read the measurements, I did not really comprehend how large it would be. That turned out to be a great thing because I wanted it to re pot a large Kimberly fern. I would order this again in a minute if I needed a large light weight pot.
