EDIT: ATTENTION EVERYONE. I am dumbfounded. I take back my original statement. So when you get the pompoms it looks like there is just one snap already sewed on to the pompom and no attachments to sew on to your hat. WELL. The second snap is already already snapped on to the Pom Pom! It’s hard to tell but just pull it apart and you’ll see!!Didn’t get my snap one with this item. NormallyI ignore the reviews but this time it actually happened to me: just don’t order this product.

I order this to add tot he top of a hat I knit for my niece to send to her for Christmas. These snaps do not close over my yarn. It is worsted weight yarn..... standard for a winter hat. I then tried on one of my old hats I have around the house. Same thing. So this whole bag is useless to me. Should have spent the money for a good one at the yarn shop. Trying to save cost me more. Save your money and buy a quality one.

They came in a package that smelled like 3m oil, they were packed in a air sealed wrapping when I opened the plastic wrapping I had to blow dry them to make them look presentable, and they all smell like oil. Very cheap looking. I bought another set from another company and they look great however this one's are cheap and not soft. I had to wash them to see if the awful smell would go away but it didn't.

Very disappointed in the Boao Faux Pompoms. I had read some of the reviews & thought I would give them a try but I should have paid more attention to the ones that correctly described them. They will not fluff when you shake them or use a hair dryer & they look really CHEAP when you put them on a knitted cap, I will keep them because they were inexpensive but I would not recommend them for crafters that want a cute add on to your projects.

Well , you do and don't get what you pay for . At $10 , these are not the best quality. And they did not include the buttons . So if I do use them , will be sewing it on . If

Sorry I didn't think to photo the pkg. The pkg came in a bag about the size of a sandwich bag that was vacuum sealed. The pompoms were permanently mashed and would not straighten out. Had to return.

I was confused when I first opened the package but did find the female part of the snaps in a separate bag. The poms are smaller but still look great on the stocking caps that I knit.

I’m sure you can find better quality but for this price it’s definitely a good buy the clips can be a bit tricky to figure out both are on the pom poms it looks like only one pice but if you look carefully it’s both top and bottom cliped in together had to use my nails to pull apart they fluff nicely once you hit themWith the blow dryer I’ll definitely buy more don’t let the shrink wrap fool you there fluffy once you get them out

These were brilliant value for money.They arrived vacuum packed, but quickly fluffed up with a good shake.One side of each snap button is already sewn onto the pom poms and the other sides were inside a separate bag for you to sew to hats etc.The snap buttons are quite secure & strong when they are pushed together, so the pom poms will not fall off whatever you sew them onto easily, which is great.I would definitely recommend them, they arrived on time and were very well packaged.Thank you

These were ok for the price, but not as big, round and fluffy as I wanted. They seemed squished up and synthetic feeling - which is what they are of course! If they're what you're after they are good value, but weren't for me. Sent back, refunded no problem.

Concept very good but no good for an aran bobble hat. I ended up sewing the attachment onto the outside of the hat for a better grip fir the clasp. Then I used a spot of glue too to help secure bobble. No good obviously if you want to interchange the bobble. Just hope they wash well!

Love these pompoms. First time buying them and they're great value for money. Love the softness and ease of using them to vary the look of beanie hats made for a friends daughter. Definitely recommend them.
