I bought this to pipe some frosting for cookies, and it ended up being nearly impossible. There were no instructions with this thing, which was unfortunate as I'd never assembled something like this before. Not even a website with a PDF. After fumbling though it with some web searches, I got it assembled, but it was nearly impossible to get the frosting through. Granted, it was a thicker frosting than I think was meant for this, but after speaking to some others and reading things online, a piping bag should have been able to handle what I was trying to do. The tips kept falling off, or threatening to, and i felt the bag was going to burst with how much pressure I had to exert to get frosting out of it.Cleaning this thing was an absolute chore. There is no easy way to do it.Perhaps I'm being a bit picky, but I didn't expect this to be as much of a disaster it was, considering how experienced I am with baking and cooking.

The product arrived on time, but the package was opened and we had to verify that it wasn’t missing parts. Secondly, there were no instructions with the item so I had to reference amazon for “how to” pictures. Thirdly, upon assembly two of the pastry bags ripped at the seam. I was able to put two together and wash them so that they are ready for use, but I haven’t used them yet. Overall, for the price I don’t think they’re terrible, but we’ll see how well they perform. I will update after I use them.

I bought to make churros. So easy to clean. It inspired me to get fancy with a cake. Love it.

I am a piping bag newbie, and ended up buying a set with the wrong sized tips for what i wanted to do. My fault. The tips are fine for cake decorating (I assume) but too small for pastry or mashed potatoes. I kept the set as the bags are good and I may get around to use the tips eventually. To solve my problem I bought a bigger tip separately and am using that with these bags.

I like that these piping bags are re-usable. We won't have to keep wasting money on piping bags that we would just throw away.However, cleaning them is a challenge. Also the plastic "tips" that screw on, aren't really needed since the piping bags already a plastic "tip" built into them.

I am quite a novice but I wanted to give decorating a try on the many cakes I make. I chose this method because I have seen it being used. It appeared easy, simple. I would have been happier if there had been some guidance, instructions or directions on how to use. I did attempt and had good results.

I’ve used them once so far and they are alright. They’re a lot thinner than I originally thought. Also, I used black frosting in one and it’s now been dyed black. Other than that seems they’ll do an alright enough job. I like that they’re more malleable than my old pastry bags, but it also makes it a little more difficult to force the frosting down to the tip initially because they have more of the stretch

I used two large bags once to pipe deviled egg filling and one of the bags split on the seam the first use. The bags take some getting used to as they are a little more flimsy than what I previously had. But after some practice, it got much easier.

Great set at a good price.

i took a while to work out you if piping other than icing you need to mash such as potatoes a lot until smooth for piping .lots of fun being inventive and easy to wash and dry
