Excellent!
This blade works absolutely terrific on my ridgid table saw. Typically I use thin kerf blades for my low-hp table saw for thick hardwoods but this thing is a beast and will rip thru anything. Also being flat toothed, its perfect for cutting 1/8” dadoes for small box panels and such. For the price it cannot be beat. Very pleased with this blade!

Better for ripping than a combo blade
I bought this because I had a lot of rip cuts in an upcoming project and some narrow dados. I normally use fine tooth combo blades on my table saw presuming they do cross cuts and rip cuts equally well. Since I have a miter saw I can dedicate my table saw to rip cuts. This blade has fewer teeth than the combo blade I have been using. It rips through cherry boards leaving a very good finish with minimal burning even on cuts over 1" deep. I especially like the flat bottom kerf for cross cutting tenons and for the narrow dados. It leaves a nice flat surface that needs less clean up with the chisel. I also rip cut some cabinet grade plywood with zero tear out. Understanding that this is a brand new, sharp high quality blade and I would expect great performance I am still extremely happy that I am using a rip blade for ripping. Well worth the effort of changing out the blade if you need to. Also I have done some cross cuts and it works fine so you don't need to change it out constantly. Maybe a downside for some - this is not a thin kerf blade.

Smooth buttery cut
I put this on my 1.5HP rigid contractor saw and rip cut red oak, white oak, hard maple and some Baltic birch plywood. It cut very smoothly with no noise and virtually no tear out. This thing cuts like butter. I tried cutting some dados and they were nice and square with flat bottom. I would absolutely buy this again. At $45 it’s the best. Far superior by a large margin than the big box blades. It literally made my saw a real pleasure to use.

Yes it is somewhat pricey BUT
I held off purchasing this blade for years because I didn’t want to spend the money and could make do with a less expensive blade.I was building furniture out of Pecan and White Oak and had significant blade burn marks that were a pain to sand out. This blade cut smoothly with no burning. Great Savings on time and wasted wood. Will purchase again if I ever wear this one out.

GREAT BLADE
I am a senior cabinet maker. This is a great blade. It cuts through hardwood like a hot knife through butter. No burn marks, no blade scuffing or scratch marks. Absolutely a great buy.

Good value in a flat top rip blade
Needed a flat top blade for joinery purposes. I'm already a fan of the Freud red blades - have an ATB glue line rip blade that is also a good value. So far have only used on some soft maple and mahogany purely for frame and panel application. Cuts clean, even on the mahogany which is prone to tear out. Minimal runout noticed, though I didn't measure for it. Like I said, good value on blade, one of the things I like about the Freuds. Good amount of carbide, so I figure at least one sharpening, maybe two.

Great Flat Top Blade
The Freud Ripping Blade is simply great. This blade has delivered burn free rips on all types of wood, which is really nice since everyone hates sanding. Since this is also a flat grind, using this for dados means that you have less clean up for a seamless fit. One thing to keep in mind is the power of your saw with this blade being full kerf at 1/8". If you have a saw that doesn't have a blade break, then it may take a second to slow down, or if it's underpowered, it may take a second for it to get up to speed.

Worth The Money
This is an unbelievably good blade. Was worried it being 10 inch and full kerf my saw wouldn't have the power to rip thick wood. Tried it out as soon as it arrived rip a piece of 6/4 walnut and it went thru it like butter. No more $39.95 DIY store blades for me. I'm sold on these higher quality blades and willing to pay the extra cost. The cost for this one wasn't even that bad.

Perfect for spline jig
Awesome for spline work, very tight accurate cuts. Ripping is perfect, smooth finish requires minimal sanding. Highly recommended.

Big Boy Saw Blade
Bought this specifically because of the blade profile (FTG) Flat Top Grind. Needed that for some DIY projects. This is a BIG BLADE. The teeth are big, the blade is thick and heavy. I struggled at first to install it on my Mitre saw. It works like a dream, I was using it on cedar. Makes an unbelievable amount of sawdust. That is not entirely caused by the blade, but something to keep in mind, you will be covered with dust from a single cut with this blade if you do not have a dust collection system.

Nice flat top grind blade
This is the second of these I've had. The first ended its life embedded in the solid aluminum block of a Sawstop cartridge. I was happy enough with the first that I bought a replacement. It rips very nicely and I use it to make flat-bottomed dados and grooves, which it also does well. With a nice smooth feed, it can give me a glue line cut in both hardwood and softwood.I must say I was impressed at how deeply those carbide teeth bit into a solid chunk of aluminum, but can't recommend using it that way.
