Beautifully written and lavishly illustrated,filled with spirit. Now in my TOP 10 of favorite books!! Highly recommended for those with an interest in tipi design or for those who wish to see through the eyes of a man who walked among the people who lived and loved close to nature.

This is more amazing than originally expected. This has such spirit and care built in. I recommend to all.

I have always wondered what it would have been like to live in a tipi. This book not only explained the structure of the tipi, but also gave details about the decorations and what the pictures meant and how the particular tipi stayed with that family and clan.

I saw this book in Salt Lake City airport and then checked for it on Amazon where it was of course much cheaper.I am intersested in heraldry and the excellent art work caught my eye.A pleasure to look at and full of design ideaas.

This is book to have if you want to educate yourself and have beautiful pictures to look at as well.
