Helps organize middle schooler
I am a teacher, and many of my students have this brand, so when it came time for my child to need a binder, this was a good choice. It takes a beating but should last the whole year as long as he doesn’t over stuff it. If he needs more space I will upgrade to the 3 inch version. Meanwhile he uses the Chromebook compartment everyday and one pocket has its use, one for the pleasure reading book and planner and one for the composition book. Fits 4-5 single subject notebooks and folders. The only thing it doesn’t fit is his pencil case, because of all the notebooks and folders. Perhaps colored tab dividers with pockets could save space, but they won’t fit as many worksheets. Now with so much online, and fewer papers, that may have been fine.

Nice binder, holds a lot, durable.
Been working well for my teenager for school. His chromebook fits nicely in the front pouch which is great because I can't get the kid to carry a backpack. He is able to cram everything except his text books into this thing and so far it seems to be hold up. The zippers all still work after a couple months of school. I haven't noticed any tips or tears in the seems or anywhere else on it. Will buy again next year if it can't make 2 years.

Decent Binder
I bought this binder for my 11 year old for school. It’s his first year in middle school and he has trouble with staying organized. I love that this binder holds everything he needs for the whole school day. The laptop case is nicely padded and the elastic to keep the laptop snuggly in place seems to be good quality and is snug after a little more than a month of use. The inside binder is large enough to hold papers for all seven classes, an extra English book, a pencil pouch and his school planner. There is, however, one spot on the case that the fabric is starting to fray and that is the handle on the spine of the binder. It has held up well considering my son chose to carry it by that handle several times instead of using the shoulder strap. A bonus for us would be if it had two straps like a backpack as the binder gets heavy when it is completely filled for school.

Case-it 3 Ring Zipper Binder
I take a at home creative writing course and go to the library often and wanted something to carry mostly everything in together and this works perfectly. It doesn't fit my laptop but I didn't really want it to any way I just wanted something for my notebooks, papers and course materials to be all in one place instead of having to search through my bag all the time for the various stuff I needed at the moment. I think it's constructed well and the colors of it are basic so my if my husband needed to use it he could as well. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to keep all their stuff together and neat in one area for easy access. The only disadvantage I could see of this that it's for a 15 inch laptop only but it clearly states that.

Nice design. I wish they'd use better rings in ...
Overall, lasted the whole school year. One of the rings got bent during the year and made it hard to keep it closed. The zippers and everything else held up. Nice design. I wish they'd use better rings in these binders, like the kind in the highest quality Avery binders.Update: I bought this in February 2015 for my 6th grade son. He is now starting 8th (September 2016) and is still using this. I followed the advice of someone online and used a rubber band around the base of the rings that wouldn't stay shut and it fixed the problem. I've looked at other models of zipper binders, and this one just has the best design. The other binders I looked at had a lot of flashy, but unnecessary, features that just added to the bulk of the binders. The zippers are still good and the fabric has held up. He uses the zippered outer pockets for a book or kindle, spiral notebooks, and composition books. Some of the other binders have built in file folders, but I got him some high quality plastic dividers with pockets, and those seem to work better.

My son loves it!
He is in middle school this year and this trapper allows him to carry a few classes worth of books and materials so he doesn't have to run to his locker between each class. The outside chromebook pocket is very well padded and protects his computer very well. He doesn't use his backpack at all anymore. He has been using this for a few weeks not and it seems to be very sturdy. The shoulder strap could be a little wider to accommodate the weight once it's filled with books, but he doesn't typically use it anyhow so for him it's not an issue.

Nice zippered binder that holds a laptop.
We bought this for our 5th grader to carry her folders and her laptop. So far going to and from school and classroom to classroom it is holding up. We've only been back to school 2 1/2 weeks and are very pleased.August 21 I have to amend my first opinion. The zipper teeth of the main zipper come apart after being zipped. Not sure how to fix this.

Falling apart after a month!
Purchased for my 5th grader to contain his multiple subjects. We are only 6 weeks into school and the rings are already misaligned, and often not staying closed. Inside pocket has been used once for a single sheet of paper and webbing is already ripping. Binder is not even close to full of papers/items, so not due to overburdening.
