So my son got a Traxxas Rustler for Christmas and within a week the gear was breaking teeth and getting chewed up pretty well. Took it to the shop it was purchased from and they swapped it out with a plastic replacement free of charge. This time all the teeth remained intact, but the spacing ground them all down.Not wanting to deal with this headache constantly, this was the logical resolution, and indeed it was a good one. With a small amount of adjustments to find the proper spacing to not bind the gears but also not tear them up, the truck runs great! Definitely a worthwhile investment!

Fit my rustler perfectly with stock gear pitch, I bought one about 4 years ago and after much much full throttle bashing and jumping it did wear out but for $12 you can’t beat it

Very cheap replacement part that works perfectly. Since the spur is a wear part you have to make sure to loosen to the slipper clutch because I didn’t and kept breaking driveshafts. Just a testament to how good this product is

I bought this after stripping two or three stock spur gears on my Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL, it has not stripped since and seems to be very high quality. But, somehow it destroyed the head of the screw that tightens the pinion gear, so I had to take it to Hobbytown and they got it out with a pair of pliers. This was quite a inconvenience, but I am still happy with this product because I do not have to keep buying new stock gears.

Put in my traxxas rally St 1/10 ford fiesta and it has worked GREAT! It is louder now than when it was plastic but I personally like that. I recommend

Durable, fits in Traxxas Slash 4x4. I dont like that the gear doesnt show pitch, this makes it difficult to match the pitch of the pinion. Improper mesh will strip a pinion gear fast!
